good food in the only vegetarian Restaurant in town

Good but not extraordinary

The staff was friendly, a few vegan options which is nice, I had a burger with potatoes and veggies. But it is not really a burger, just the patty. The patty itself was tasty the rest on the plate was a bit bland, it was good but a bit expensive for such a simple meal.

Pros: friendly staff, many options, healthy

Cons: bland food

Verrassende avond

Pros: Vega, Gezellige sfeer

Cons: -

would give zero stars

Hopelessly unorganised.
No idea how to run a business.

A bit pricey

Nice place, unfortunately they were out of most Vegan dishes when we were there last week, so we went for the burger with salad and. cajun potato's.
Nowadays it's quite common to pay 14 euro for a burger, usually big, in a huge bun, topped with loads of cool stuff, and served with salad and roast potatoes, thick fries or something like that.
Not this one, we got a small (falafel?)burger, no bun, no toppings, just a bit of runny mayo, some cajun potatoes and a small green salad..
The burger was ok, the potatoes too, the salad a little bland, altogether not something i would pay 14 euro's for.
Vegans pay attention, as they seem to have the idea that Quorn is a vegan product.

Very tasteful - a hidden gem

We had the Veganburger and the warme Quinoaschotel; both were very delicious with an exceptional taste. The atmosphere is nice and the staff was really kind. We can only recommend De Plaats.

Pros: Small menu with high-quality food, Vegan options, Good beers and wines

Amazing!

A cute place in a cute town. The food was amazing and so tasty. I had the burger and have never had anything like it, just the right amount of spices and balanced flavor. The menu is in Dutch (which I don't speak) but the woman who took our order took the time to explain everything in English and was so kind.

very nice

I had the curry which was very nice on a cold rainy day very helpful staff happy to explain in English all the options. The location is also quite good being very close to hoogstraat where a lot of hotels/hostels are it is a 5m walk or less from Burg square.

Not pricy and very good portions as well. Highly recommend!

Pros: portions, quality, staff

Excellent and lovely restaurant

Very good restaurant with a a lot of varied vegan choices, we took the dish of the day (tofu/mushroom 13€) and the paëlla (15€). The meals are perfect portions and absolutely delicious. You must especially try the paëlla which is a very colorful mix of vegetables and black rice in deep juice.
The woman who served us was lovely, she translated and described every detail of each meal to us (in French).
This feels like the perfect vegan restaurant to me, lots of choices (I regret not trying some), incredible flavors, adorable people.

Pros: Lots of choices and delicious meals, Opening hours, Adorable staff

Great service, lovely food

The owner was so helpful, granted the restaurant was not very full but she explained the whole menu to us. We both got the lasagne (vegetarian) which was delicious and cheesey with a sauce cooked over six hours. The restaurant is vegan and gluten-free friendly.
Don't be fooled by the outside, is actually quite roomy inside. Reasonably priced, especially for Bruges and the quality of the food.

Pros: Friendly service , Delicious food , Vegan and gluten-free options available

Great culinary experience

We went there for dinner with my girlfriend and had a really good time. The service was very friendly and helpful. The food was innovative, exciting and very delicious. I had a patty made of risotto which was very nice but I could have chosen the quinoa or the walnut one too. Potatoes and salad on the side, all very pleasant. But my girlfriend's order took the grand prize. She had a pasta dish that was so rich and thick flavoured that it resembled a Bolognese to me. That reminds me that this vegetarian restaurant is totally vegan friendly. Even though I have only been there once I think it's safe to recommend it.. Enjoy!

Pros: Friendly service, Tasty food

Cons: Decoration could be a bit warmer
