Read moreWe have been to Tilburg. We have been curious for a while because Dadawan in Maastricht looked quite stylish from the outside but we never got around to eating here.
In Tilburg we ended up in a large room with loud music and a lot of plastic. The food was of no quality, very saucy, very few vegetables, and on the salty side. My partner had already half finished his limp Vega chicken burger when my dish arrived.
Do you like Asian fastfood that has little to do with the beautiful Asian cuisine and do you like to eat while enjoying loud dance music in a dark, somewhat dingy room; then Dadawan (Tilburg) is your place.

Limited vegan options and no vegan dessert offered, I even asked about it. Taste and service was great.

I must say I went there craving ramen (I had seen they had a veg/tofu option), but they are not vegan, because the noodles have egg (this is really a weird choice, there are so many amazing udon noodles that are egg-free).
Read moreI tried however the vegan "chicken" poke bowl and the veggie stone bowl (ask for the egg to be removed...). Both were very good, beware the huge portions and a lot of rice. The prices were more than correct, around 11 euros.
Down side: no tap water offered.

Everything from the menu can be vegan if you ask the staff. They can remove things. They also have two robots and they are really fun

Op de menukaart wordt geen onderscheid gemaakt tussen vegetarisch en veganistisch. Meeste vega opties zijn vegetarisch, wil je vegan dan betekent dit voornamelijk dat ze de niet vegan ingrediënten weg laten. Mijn pokébowl kwam niet overeen met de beschrijving, ik denk dat er eea op was, smaakte verder prima. Personeel niet helemaal op de hoogte wat vegan is of kan en vegan bestellen moet via bediening, kan niet met de qr-code.
