Set up is assembly line style where you could customize your order of tacos, burrito, or burrito bowl, and request no cheese or sour cream. Offers a savory sofritas filling that's made from soy protein, and some locations offer Impossible meat. Rice, beans, guacamole are vegan. In early-2019 added a pre-configured vegan bowl which includes the sofritas in addition to other fillings like guacamole. Open Mon-Sun 11:00am-10:00pm.

A quick, delicious, and healthy assembly-line burrito - Edit

In the 1990s, Chipotle was an early chain to meet concerns of vegetarian customers. The chain’s website has a helpful nutrition calculator, allowing you to see the ingredients, calories, and more for a build-your-own meal based on your inputs. The corporation promises to uphold various socially responsible practices, including use of "real," local, and organic ingredients. Today, it seeks to be responsive to vegan customers and their needs and tastes. Unsurprisingly, then, Chipotle has never been among the bad guys of chain fast food. Among the main dishes that can be made vegan are a Salad, a Burrito, a Burrito Bowl, and Tacos. The new Quesadillas do not have a vegan-cheese option. Two options for the main filling are vegan—the Veggies and the Sofritas. The latter is a tofu-based meat sub with a great texture that does not remind me excessively of meat. Also, both types of beans and rice are vegan. The chain also offers guacamole and several salsa choices at varying levels of heat (all vegan). Another healthy veggie optional add-in is Romaine lettuce. So flexible are the options that you can, for example, opt for more than one kind of salsa. Among options to avoid for vegans are meats, cheeses, queso blanco, and sour cream. An occasional past customer, I recently found that in-store dining had resumed in Kingston's mall-area location. Chipotle's is a quick and tasty burrito, cafeteria-style. You wait on a single line, move along, make your selections, pay at a register, and eat it there or to-go. If dining in, you throw away your own disposable materials, and return plastic trays. My two recent Chipotle burritos cost a bit over $9 and $11, respectively. (The second burrito included guacamole, a premium add-on at $2.50.) This restaurant makes a very good burrito and one that is great for me as someone who likes vegan burritos and other vegan Mexican food with whole-food ingredients.

I ate meat here!!!🤢 - Edit

I’ve been vegan for 15 years and vegetarian for 25 years before that but haven’t eaten beef for well over 45 years. I ordered a sofrito burrito and was in a hurry so I took a few bites while driving. I realized quickly there were chunks of something with an unfamiliar texture and unfortunately swallowed before thinking it may have been steak. I immediately pulled over and called them and they confirmed the error, thinking it was an S for steak not for sofrito. Not to be overly dramatic and my veg people will get it but I was traumatized and won’t go into what I did next but you can guess. They thought giving me a gift card would make up for it but I haven’t been back and this was almost 10 years ago.

Pros: They try by offering vegan options, Seems clean, Great guac, almost as good as my own 😆

So Many Vegetables! - Edit

We ordered the Burrito Bowl and their other goodness like we have many times before... but this time they had cauliflower rice!! The amount of varied colorful veggies in our dinner was amazing (and the guacamole, I mean seriously 🤤)!!!
