We've tried a few cheese plates in Barcelona and this one is one of the best for affordability and flavors -- they include a camembert and a blue cheese! We also had some toasts topped with Spanish omelette and another with sausage which were good too. Great service and lovely restaurant.

I loved Chez Kessler vegan tapas restaurant in Barcelona! The staff were so friendly and the quality of the food and value were great! We ordered the prix fixe menu for $16 which included a glass of wine, appetizer such as patatas bravas or avocado ceviche, plus vegan tacos or vegetable vegan shrimp curry, and the BEST molten chocolate cake ever!

Read moreThe staff is just wonderful, they have a huge selection of great quality food, as well as drinks (alcoholic/non-alcoholic).
You can book a table to make sure you get a seat on the terrace.
I personally recommend the “tabla de quesos”, exquisite.
Cannot wait to be back and try the rest of the dishes offered.

The staff is always very attentive, helpful, friendly, the owner gave us recommendations for everything and was truly lovely.

You can enjoy a huge choice of vegan tapas here, starting with even truly great olives and juices everything had a special, rich taste. If you stick with the low-price options, you won't even pay too much and have a lot to try.

Went 2 days in a row. First day they had no pastries and no omelettes. He said someone came and bought all their pastries that morning. Fine. Other food was good. He guaranteed me that he would have omelettes and pastries next day. Day 2: opens at 1000, we arrived at 1030. No omelettes again! But he had the pastries, which were good. Poor management to not have standard menu items available 2 days in a row. But the food was good.

Warm and elegant place. Barcelona needed this kind of vegan reastaurant.
