Chez Kessler was some of the tastiest food I've ever had, and definitely some of the best tapas. It was so nice to be able to have traditional Spanish/Catalan food instead of just vegan junk food. We actually came back twice in one holiday because it was so tasty. I'd recommend trying the tapas dishes as well as some of the platters. I didn't try any of the main meals but the tapas and platters were so good I don't think I'd bother trying anything else. The staff were really friendly too.

The decor of the inside is a little strange and the indoor area is very small. Felt more like a local bar than going to a ‘proper’ restaurant.

I got the prawn ceviche, and it was fairly decent. It had a bit too many onions for me. I wish I had tried some of the tapas. Overall, lots of different options to choose from, but the food I ate was just OK.

I had the mixed tapas plate with meat and cheese and it was amazing. The best selection of vegan cheese I had in Barcelona. What I really liked was that it was not just the same cheese with different flavours but really different ones (brie style, blue cheese, etc.). My partner had the hotdog, which was insanely large - very much a meal. Staff was friendly and having this lunch outside was just an overall good experience and worth going to the area for.

Has a great little enclosed outdoors seating area just off the pavement. Vegan cheeseboard / charcuterie was really fun as I'd not had anything like it for a long time! Service was excellent. Food was good, but nothing memorable imho.

An amazing terrace with enough shadow or shelter for the rain. The juices are really good and the food was amazing. The costumers have a really good vibe. This place gives access to everyone. Even if you're in a wheelchair.

A beautiful venue with delicious healthy option. I prefer a well balanced diet, and it was a joy finding several options on their menuen that match my preferences, and not having to supplement with proteinbarer or compromise on dishes that are heavy on fats like oil. 🥰

This was our favourite restaurant in Barcelona. We ate here twice just to try the cold cuts & cheeseboard again. The food is amazing and the staff are really friendly. It gets very busy but we were luckily able to be seated outside both times we went.
Read moreOur first time we tired the patatas bravas and the board. Everything was incredible especially the board. My non-vegan boyfriend was amazed by the cold cuts being so close to actual meat. It’s served alongside some really nice chutneys and bread. We also tried the lemon cheesecake which was great!
Second time we had the pan con tomate, sweet potatoes with truffle mayo, the board again(!) and finished with the chocolate cake with papaya ice cream and cardamom. Again, everything was incredible! Really couldn’t fault the food here at all and it comes out really quick too. Decent prices for the quality and the drinks are great value also.

Visited on Wednesday for dinner, what a lovely place, friendly staff, very quick service & the food was amazing. My wife had the Pesto Gnocchi & I had the three tomato salad, we both shared tapas, the food & presentation was wonderful, thank you for a great first time visit.
