Small selection but great staff - Edit
We went when the kitchen was closed so only managed a sort of vegan meatball/ arancini. However when the kitchen is open there is also falafel, quinoa and couscous.

Nice view of Venice if you sit outside.

Lunch! - Edit
Three vegan things on the menu, clearly marked: quinoa with veg, cous cous with veg, and falafel with veg. Mom and I got the falafel. It was fine, but the portions were a bit small.

Food not amazing but decent choice of vegan options - Edit
Struggled to find a vegan food in Venice, found Caffe Vergnano through happy cow and decided to give it a shot! The vegan options were: cous cous, falafel, quinoa, gnocchi pomodoro and insalata Brasiliana. Not a great deal at first glance but better than anywhere else we’d seen! We ordered the gnocchi and falafel, food was nice enough but not amazing (gnocchi was slightly mushy, possibly a bit over cooked, falafel was nice) but I appreciated the number of options, and the staff were very knowledgeable and happy to help. Very nice views and location. Reasonably priced for Rialto/grand canal views as well

Cons: Not the best food I’d had there

Limited Options - Edit
Nice outdoor seating by the canal. Unfortunately, the selection was minimal, and the quality of the food was underwhelming. The only options were falafel and couscous.

They used to be better - Edit
I must admit I have mixed feelings about this place. Apart from its picturesque location besides the Grand Canal and the Rialto Bridge, they once used to have very good vegan dishes, made on the spot, while they have now replaced them with microwaved ready stuff. I know the chef has changed (the previous cook was vegan), but I do hope they can get back to their previous standards.

Lovely spot by the Grand Canal - Edit
Had a beautiful meal outdoors here this evening watching the world go by on the Grand Canal. Had the falafel dish as the vegan lasagne had run out - it didn’t look like much when it first arrived, but tasted amazing and was very filling. Lovely spot to sit with a glass of vino. The menu is omni which meant my partner could indulge in Italian classics while I enjoyed a vegan dish.

Vegan, but not so great - Edit
I ordered the vegan lasagne, the pasta was overcooked. It was bland, mushy, and overall a bad dish. The non-vegans with me did not like their dishes either.

Really delicious - Edit
This restaurant has a clear vegan section of the menu. I ordered the falafals with hummus and veggies and my husband had the vegan lasagna. Both dishes were delicious and reasonably priced.

good vegan lasagna - Edit
I was pleased with the lasagna. It was nice to not have to worry if it was vegan or not. The waitress informed me that there is a vegetarian and vegan lasagna option, so make sure you select the vegan one.

it's really great that they have a separate vegan menu but our food was a bit plain and it was mainly rice. Too dry too.

Beautiful view - Edit
Once we found it, we were thrilled. The view is beautiful (outdoor seating on the canal!), the food is tasty and the staff is friendly. The adults did leave a bit hungry, as the portions are not quite large enough, but they did have bread baskets with oil & vinegar.

Separate vegan menu and view of Grand Canal - Edit
We had lunch one day and dinner another. Menu options were tasty. They have a vegan croissant, but we're already sold out both times we were there.

Great to find a vegan menu - Edit
This friendly cafe has a separate vegan menu. We ate there twice and tried four dishes all of which were delicious. The staff are very friendly and it is nicely situated right next to the Grand Canal at the Rialto. Would definitely recommend.
