Brilliant sandwich - Edit
This was the biggest sandwich I ever ate and the flavours were amazing! I just showed a photo of a vegan sandwich on HappyCow to the staff and he made me the same one. It had lots of ruccola, sun-dried tomatoes, roasted potatoes, marinated onions and lots of olive oil.
Read moreAs there's no seating, the sandwich is big and oily, it's quite difficult to eat it. But worth the struggle!
Pros: Great flavours, Good value for money (10 EUR)
Cons: No seating

Best sandwich ever - Edit
There was only one vegan option on the board, and it was crazy crowded. It was a fast moving, high pressure line, but I just agreed to whatever the vegan option was, and OH. MY. GOD. amazing 🤣
Read moreIt was a lettuce, and olive roll, with caremalosed onions, super fresh ingredients and incredible bread.
Would have gone again if I'd had time!

Great focaccia sandwich - Edit
There's only one vegan option in the menu, but if you mention you're vegan they let you customize it with a number of options. Was delicious.

Good vegan sandwiches - Edit
So glad they also have vegan options for their sandwiches.
Read moreI got Viola and it was tasty.
Maybe not the most special place to eat but I’ll take it since Venice isn’t vegan friendly.
Friendly and fast service.
No tables so take away only.
Pros: Good vegan sandwiches , Reasonably priced for Venice
Cons: More vegan options welcome, Take away only

I'll go over it again - Edit
Very nice and friendly guys, they suggested the schiacciata Viola, number 8 if I'm not mistaken, with olives, sun-dried tomatoes, salad and caramelized onions. They also have vegan cicchetti all of good quality. I will definitely come back to it in the future.

Slight customization to get a vegan sandwich - Edit
There was a small square open-faced option clearly labeled vegan (maybe called ciccheti?) for 2,50€, but no vegan option in their numbered list of 13 schiacciate; I asked if the small open-faced option could be made into a sandwich, and the staff were very willing to do so. The sandwich had exactly what the open-faced option did: delicious focaccia, olive tapenade, sun dried tomatoes, greens, and sautéed onions. The sandwich was large and tasty; wish there were some more options!

The restaurant has a vegetarian variant, I was there years ago and I can assure you that the one you were eating is the schiacciata that was on the menu, if I'm not mistaken it's called Viola

Tapenade sandwich - Edit
Staff was super busy and the cashier didn’t quite understand what vegan means. I got a filled foccacia sandwich with tomatoes, salad and olive paste. Tasted good. After ordering i saw they had also something labelled ”vegano” ready made in their vitrine. Don’t know if it’s vegan or why wasn’t it suggested for me…

Great vegan schiacciata - Edit
Helpful staff and the schiacciata is very tasty! Sometimes they also have a smaller version called “cicchetti” if you’re not feeling really hungry 🌱
