Read moreDon't be afraid to check out this cafe even if you're not vegan or vegetarian. Make sure you save some room for Megan's incredible desserts. I don't think I've ever had a bad dish at this restaurant. Prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food. Nice ambience. After your first visit you'll feel like an old friend the next time.

I had their burrito, and it was awesome: fresh ingredients, and very filling. Today’s my birthday, so I treated myself to two yummy-looking cupcakes to go for later (with a coffee). Recommended.

IT WAS AMAZING. So if you are in the Western Mass area, you have to give them a try.
And wash it down with some Yerba Mate. Not only is it tasty and better than coffee, but it also benefits a great cause.
Pros: Organic, Community, GREAT FOOD
Cons: Pricey but reasonable. You get what you buy.

Love this place! I try to stop every time I drive through Florence. Ordered nachos grande (vegan nachos with chili, vegan cheese, and all sorts of goodness) and a vegan lemon cupcake with strawberry frosting. Amazing. I ate most of the cupcake before the nachos arrived. It was so good that I ordered peanut noodles and a peanut chocolate car to go. Cool atmosphere, too.

Read moreLOVE the not so turkey sandwich, I always add the "fakin bacon" and ask for no onions. This sandwich is always so good I realize I never even ordered anything else lol. Only thing that could make it better would be fries instead of chips and salsa hahaha. The baked goods are out of this world. Some of the best vegan cupcakes I've had and I am always trying vegan cupcakes so take my word lol. Especially love the chocolate peanut butter one and the chocolate cupcake with strawberry frosting.

Love this place. The veggies are fresh crisp, everything is delicious, prices very reasonable and cozy, relaxed, home like atmosphere welcoming to all. Baked goods are out of this world. Highly recommend this place to vegans and great place to bring along non-vegan friends or family as well who are sure to find things they will enjoy. So nice to be able to order anything off the menu and not have to worry about animal products. Great vegan establishment to support.

I LOVE evolution. I have never been disappointed with the food and always make sure to leave with one of the tasty baked goods from the case. The staff is friendly and they are always helpful. I love the salads and would love to know how they make their signature tofu (it’s amazing). The vibe is really nice here too, and not too far a drive from Northampton if you want to wander around a bit after your lunch.

Came here for the Sunday brunch and was not disappointed. I had the vegan omelette, which was terrific. Others in my party had the breakfast burrito and the breakfast bagel. All of it was great.

A few updates from previous reviews: 1. Yes, they now take credit/debit cards. 2. If you have kids, ask them to make linguine with cheese (like Mac n cheese)—they were happy to make it, and my boys gobbled it down! 3. I attached a menu as of July 10, 2018. 4. Looks rough on the outside, but inside is nice.

Nachos Grande - Edit
The nachos grande was plated really beautifully. I got my food fast and the cheese was perfectly melted. It was pretty delicious. However it was a bit on the pricy side. I was originally in the mood for a sandwich but they don’t offer any gluten-free rolls or bread. I felt for the price and portion I received I could have made this at home for my entire family at the same price. Next time I will do more menu research before I trek out to a new place. Gluten-free chocolate chip cookie was the only gluten free bakery option and it was good. But would have liked something else.

Only thing i didn't see was a menu item with beets in it...was craving something like a buddha bowl, which could easily be done with the brown rice, veggies and tofu, and some beets along with it. the menu is very focused, but maybe they'll expand it sometime.

This place is my absolute favorite!! It's one of the only purely vegan restaurants in the area and it goes above and beyond! Not only is it a great place to eat (best vegan cheese I've ever had) but it's also a great safe space and does a wonderful job in being an active part of the community and speaks or against injustice. 10/10 would recommend.

Rode my bike here from Amherst today and had a late lunch. The space has a nice, funky cafe vibe and is really well-lit - a great spot for a casual meal. The menu has lots of delicious-sounding offerings, like nachos grande, sloppy joe, peanut noodles, and large variety of sandwiches. They also offer smoothies and have a glass case full of beautiful desserts.
Read moreI opted for the bagel benedict. I was worried about whether it would actually fill me up, especially since I was pretty famished from the long bike ride. The bagel came out piled high with tempeh bacon, tofu, tomato, and sprouts, and topped off with hollandaise. Each half of the bagel had a full suite of these topics, so it turned out to be two rather hefty open faced sandwiches. The thing was crazy-delicious and really hit the spot. Impressively, it filled me up in spite of my prior hunger, so I didn't even have room to try one of their cupcakes or bars. Overall, I was super-impressed by the meal. Not only was it fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, it was also a huge portion at an affordable price (I think it was like $6.50 or so). I will definitely be back. I'm looking forward to trying more of their mains and sandwiches, and also to sampling a dessert or two.

June 21st,2017 was our first visit, the first of many more trips to vegan nirvana to come! We started with the Grande Nachos- I don't know what wizardry they use to make these but you can be sure I have never tasted a vegan cheese sauce as good-ever. The delicate balance of delicious chili, tortilla chips and avocado was a symphony of flavors .We knew we were in for a treat with this as our starter. The peanut noodles and ginger tofu were the best I have ever had and the presentation was immaculate. A smooth peanut sauce with just the right amount of heat. We eat with our eyes first and might I say we devoured it at first site. The vegan open faced Reuben was a delightful mix of flavors with their homemade 1000 island dressing and tangy sauerkraut and amply flavored "vegan pastrami". I would go back for all of these items but that sandwich is enough to get me in the car. The coffee was excellent, smooth and mellow and a vegans dream with so many plant based milks to choose from. For dessert we tried the Vanilla cupcake, the Vanilla Lemon cupcake the Chocolate strawberry cupcake ,the brownie and the oat raspberry bar. In fact we had one of these in house and took the rest home. The desserts are so good there is NO way that non-vegans could tell they are vegan. How do they get the vegan buttercream frosting to taste so good? A truely spectacular dining experience.

Cafe Evolution is a great joint with plenty of space. Many people go to get work done, and it has a great atmosphere. The food is very good however I find myself ordering the same things every time, and the menu never changes so it can get a bit boring. I recommend the smoothies, they are killer!

My husband and I go once a week on average. We love the brunch! Pastries are all delicious and worth a visit for them alone. Soups are always tasty and we love the chili burrito for lunch!
