Very good, lots of variety - Edit
The menu has over 20 different marked vegan options (mostly sushi, but a few appetizers as well). The staff is knowledgeable & friendly. I had the Spicy Kaluna Crunch, Crunchy Cabbage, & Cowgirl, which I'd rate 5 stars, 4 stars, & 3 stars, in that order. The food was very good overall, the Spicy Kaluna & Crunchy Cabbage in particular. The Cowgirl wasn't bad, it just wasn't really my thing. I'd describe it as similar to a cheeseburger in a sushi roll. Overall, not cheap, but more or less reasonably priced for what you're getting.

Omg how did they do it?! - Edit
I think sushi has been the only food I've "missed" since going vegan and I say that with a grain of salt because I've had plenty of great sweet potato rolls and veggie rolls, but they don't taste like a spicy tuna roll.
Read moreWhelp, the Blue Sushi folks have done it. I They make a completely vegan spicy tuna roll that actually tastes like a spicy tuna roll complete with a perfectly salty VEGAN black tobiko caviar made from seaweed. My mind was absolutely blown.
The fact that this exists in the world gives me hope that more people will see there is no reason to continue eating animals. We literally even have vegan caviar now, like, what will could you be missing?!?! I certainly will never miss sushi again.
For the record, the roll I'm speaking of is the Spicy Kaluna Crunch roll. Stunning. This was my favorite.
I also had the Shiitake To Me roll which was also delicious.
There were SO many vegan roll options. It was heaven. I wish I could have tried all of them.
My omni husband ordered a regular tuna roll and said he would order the vegan one next time. WIN!
Pros: TONS of clearly marked vegan options, Delicious!!, Great service
Cons: It's expensive (but all sushi is)

Not bad for an Omni place - Edit
I really enjoyed the Kaluna crunch and the roll with bbq eel here. A lot of the vegan options are very tempura heavy and I might like to see some more variety, but overall this place was pretty good for being an Omni place. Probably a good option for a mixed group.

It really is amazing. How many choices they have for vegans. We even brought our friend. It is gluten-free, and they had a special menu for him. Very happy with this establishment.

Many interesting vegan options - Edit
Four of us enjoyed sharing our selections for dinner. I started with a flavorful kombu miso soup and sautéed miso lemon Brussels sprouts. Even the omni, devote Brussels sprout hater enjoyed them. We tried lots of different vegan maki rolls and liked them all. Easy to spot vegan options with the green icon next to them. The green tea was a little weak. Server was friendly and helpful. Overall good experience.

The Best - Edit
HUGE vegan menu, which includes apps, rolls, and non-rolls. The tuna is so fishy that I asked our waiter if they for sure input the order as the fish one (tummy is confirming the 'yes' a couple hours later, feel fine). The miso soup is exactly like I remember as an Omni, and the rolls are large enough to be filling but small enough that two orders is enough!

I loved that they have a menu just for vegans! I have a seafood allergy aside from being vegan and they were super supportive and mindful of it. I got two rolls and loved them both.

Lots of vegan options - Edit
Some sushi places listed on HappyCow frankly offered just a couple of items for vegans. This place however, has a huge list of vegan sushi – I counted over 20 vegan items— that is, a sufficient number of items that could make up an entire menu for a vegan restaurant on its own.
Read moreThe vegan sushi here are very creative; I had the “ hippie“ sushi and the vegan tuna sushi, along with a salad – part of the lunch special for 20 bucks. Food was delicious and very filling.

Blue Sushi is not a veg establishment, but they sure crush the veggie sushi options. While there are other great options in the city, Blue Sushi has a more “professional” flare to their roles.

This place is so cute, all of the decor is so spot on, there is a giant airplane for the ceiling. It probably took me 30 minutes just to order, they had such a huge selection of vegan rolls. Everything was out of this world- a must visit if you are a sushi lover!

Sooo good! - Edit
I have had sushi here multiple times and the food, the drinks and the service are always fantastic. My favorite roll is the Thai Hippie. I love the peanut sauce and the little bit of spice. If you order a lot of sushi, they serve it to you in a boat! 100% recommend this place. I would give it five stars if that was allowed.

I’ve been craving sushi but it’s hard to find vegan options that aren’t just basic vegetables.
Read moreMy girlfriend recommended Blue and i was excited to find maki rolls and my very favorite- vegan unagi. I had two pieces and it was incredible, made out of eggplant and tasted almost exactly like i remembered eel.
I also ordered the Philadelphia Roll which was incredible. I have no idea how they make vegan salmon taste so close to the real thing.
We’ll definitely be back because i want to try everything!

Great Vegan Sushi with lots of options - Edit
Big menu with an entire section dedicated to vegan sushi. Also all of the appetizers are vegan and many of the shareables. I thoroughly enjoyed my sushi although I do prefer Wellness Sushi, which is much cheaper. Blue Sushi Sake Grill however is a great swanky place to take non-vegan friends. Unfortunately we had very slow service and that greatly affected our experience, nonetheless I would certainly recommend it and will be trying it again!
