Blue Sushi Sake Grill
Serves meat, vegan options available. Restaurant chain. Has vegan mayo and vegan tempura batter (but maybe same fryer - ask). On the regular menu vegan items are marked with V. Appetizers include edamame, shishito peppers, edamame hummus and veggies, seaweed salad, miso soup. From the rest of the menu there are around 15 vegan possibilities and could substitute brown rice for white rice. Open Mon-Wed 11:00am-10:00pm, Thu 11:00am-10:30pm, Fri 11:00am-12:00am, Sat 12:00pm-12:00am.

not really began - Edit
The menu said it had many vegan options but in small letters at the bottom it said all tempura are fried in same batter as meat and fish. So there was only 4 vegan rolls. For the appetizers most weren't vegan. The miso has fish in it, the edamame and shishito peppers both have butter. At that point I gave up on asking about anything else that I could eat. Not vegan friendly actually lies on the menu saying things are vegan that are not!

Lots of Options - Edit
As a vegetarian who regularly eats out with non-veg friends, it is always a joy to find a restaurant that please us all equally. Blue Sushi Sake Grill has plenty of vegan items on their regular menu all marked with a V. Here's a sample:
Edamame Hummus with carrots, zucchini and lotus root
Shishito Peppers
Lettuce wraps
Vegetable tempura (vegan batter)
Hyashi Tofu
There are 8 vegan maki rolls (vegan mayo)
There are 2 vegan nagiri
And there are the regulars: edamame, miso soup, seaweed salad.
The decor is clean with big windows and is right on the 16th street free shuttle route. The service is always professional and friendly.
The Happy Hour is great and includes drinks and food. The margarita is a little sweet but the cucumber infused Samurai Suketini hit the spot.
Pros: Quality food, Reasonable Price, Happy Hour
