Lots of Vegan Choices - Edit
So many vegan friendly options to choose from that are really amazing. Even though this sushi restaurant is not a vegan spot, they really put so much creativity and work into their vegan rolls. Great service, nice staff, and expectations exceeded!

creative vegan sushi - Edit
There's a whole vegan section of the menu with lots of fun options. It's nice not to just have to order a Cucumber/Avocado roll. Plenty of crunchy/spicy options as well as plant-based tuna. Great happy hour too.

SO MANY vegan options! So delicious. Most vegan-friendly sushi in Denver. - Edit
Most vegan sushi options we’ve ever seen. Could improve by not having fish tanks with trapped live fish and not serving animal flesh or secretions anymore.
Read morePros: Tons of vegan options. , Good service. , Popular atmosphere.

Huge Vegan Sushi Selection - Edit
The Vegan Black Dragon roll is amazing with vegan caviar. All the vegan rolls were very yummy and I could not believe how big the vegan menu was. Someone definitely put some love into these rolls. Not sure how long they will have the vegan raspberry sorbet dessert but it is to die for.

Menu is clearly labeled, tons of options, wide variety of ingredients, all of which include effort. Not just your cucumber roll or avocado roll.

Love their sushi - Edit
It's funny because I never ate sushi when I wasn't vegan. Now I love it. And places like this are the reason.
Read moreAwesome downtown location. In several visits we have always had awesome service and kind staff.

Excellent drinks and fun options! - Edit
Several unique vegan options with very good cocktails. The vegan rolls with tomato tuna are super fun, also enjoyed the lettuce cups with tofu. Spicy margarita may have been the best I’ve had.

They’ve got a couple decent options - Edit
They’ve got a couple decent options but at every blue sushi the staff has an “uppity” vibe that they make it seem like the customers there don’t deserve their time.

Phenomenal vegan options - Edit
They’ve got a ton of vegan rolls that are really unique. The cowgirl roll somehow tastes like a hamburger! What!! Mad props to the chefs here. It’s hard not to pig out on all the options and try it all at once. Lots of variety and super unique rolls and flavors. This is a great place to bring the whole fam (including nonvegs).
Read moreThe waitstaff is great too. Once when we went they forgot they sat us and enough time went by when we realized that we hadn’t gotten water yet, but they apologized and were really kind when we were able to waive someone down, and they even gave us a discount that we only noticed when we looked at the receipt afterwards. They are crazy busy all of the time and it’s no wonder why. The food is delicious and incredibly memorable! Highly recommend.
Pros: Memorable experience, Amazing flavors, Tons of variety
Cons: Usually very busy/wait times

Amazing Vegan Sushi! - Edit
My husband took me here for my birthday tonight and it was a phenomenal experience from the moment we walked in the door. Our server, Melodie, was phenomenal. She was attentive, friendly, knowledgable, and delightful. Everything she suggested was delicious and we would come back based on her service alone.
Read moreThankfully, there is much more to bring us back. The food was sensational. I am so grateful for the extensive and creative vegan menu. Most sushi places can accommodate with basic avocado or cucumber rolls but few come even close to the amazing variety of rolls on this menu. All of the items I tried were truly yummy and I'm particularly grateful for the vegan miso soup.
I would happily give this restaurant 5 stars if Happy Cow allowed for that.
Pros: Amazing Service, Extensive Vegan Sushi Menu, Great Atmosphere

Favorite Sushi in Denver (So Far) - Edit
This is our go-to for sushi. They have several vegan options, some traditional and others more experimental. Everything is always good and the edamame is some of the best (some people mess up this simple staple). The service is generally moderately quick.

The best vegan sushi I’ve ever had - Edit
The vegan sushi selections were plenty and every single one of them are DELICIOUS! They’re all so unique and it’s refreshing to have sushi options that aren’t the standard avocado and cucumber rolls. My favorite ones were the one with BBQ paper and the Tomato based tuna. I seriously can’t express how delicious all of them are! Not to mention, they have a vegan dessert and vegan starters as well! We tried the Brussels sprouts and they were awesome. If the place was fully vegan it would get 5 stars from me.

So good - Edit
I absolutely love this place. But I’m okay with tempura veggies that are friend in the same oil as fish. I know many vegans who aren’t.
Read moreRegarding the Shishito peppers, just ask the server to omit the butter. They’re happy to do it. And also, they’ve changed their miso recipe and it is now vegan.
I’ve been vegan for 12 years and giving up sushi was the hardest thing for me. Blue sushi has by far the best, most creative vegan sushi options I’ve found anywhere. Try the spicy ahimi, crunchy cabbage and cowgirl. SO. DAMN. GOOD.

Loved the vegan sushi - Edit
Went to Blue Sushi in Low-Do for my wife's birthday with vegan friends. We ate 6 different vegan choices. They were all delicious. Our waiter asked if he should tell the staff to clean their cooking/cutting surfaces to avoid cross contaminations. The vegan miso soup was rich tasting and well made. When my wife told them it was her birthday, they said there was a vegan dessert, which we all shared. Very tasty.
