Everything what you need as a vegan

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw how many vegan options they offer. The prices are a bit more expensive but still reasonable. The restaurant has a beautiful garden to enjoy the food outside.
I ordered a sandwich and my boyfriend the Pad Thai a small fruit salad for sharing and we were more than stuffed. Everything was so packed with flavour. Absolutely appreciated this place.

Huge range of options, really unbelievable. And everything we tried was perfect. Including homemade bread, homemade tempeh, homemade most of the things. Coldpressed juices. Lots of healthy things. Very kind owners, very helpful. Loved it

Pros: As mentioned

Breakfast for take away

I ordered a Bagel with Guacamole and a cinnamon roll. Both were delicious. The food came with a free fruit salad and a lemongrass juice.

Meh

I hosted a vegan meetup here a couple months back, and despite the fact that I had made a reservation a week in advance, and messaged that morning to confirm the number attending, they did not have any tables reserved for us when we go there. I and other guests spent 5-10 minutes helping the staff find and move around tables and chairs to fit us all together, and the arrangement was far from ideal. Additionally, I had to go around and cleared the menus, put the confiments on the tables, and get napkins and water for the other guests, as the staff did not remember to do so.

Personally, I was very disappointed with my order. The "bbq tofu" was not barbecued or even marinated, it was just plain tofu with bbq sauce on the side. I had to deconstruct my sandwich and then put it all back together myself. The sauce was very runny and made the bun soggy, and everything fell apart.

The other guests provided feedback for me to include as well:
"perfectly average"
"as expected"
"fast!"
"very nice atmosphere"
"friendly staff"
"large menu-overwhelming"
"my drink wasn't full when delivered"
"so good"
"huge portions"
"nice garden"

After this event, I decided to give the restaurant another shot and ordered some baked goods from them for delivery. When my order arrived, there was mold on both of the items. I will probably not be eating or ordering from here again.

Pros: Beautiful outdoor seating area w/ good atmosphere, Big portions, Fast service

Cons: Average food for above average prices, Unprepared/forgetful staff, Moldy bagels

Salads from heaven

The salads and baked goods from this place are amazing. Portion sizes are big and has a very cute vibe. Loved that they put the dressing on the side so I could add it myself. I would come back to Chiang Mai just for the Tempeh salad.

Pros: Lots of vegan options , Free water

Cons: A little bit pricy compared to local Thai food

Relaxed cafe with attached shop

Blue Diamond is a Chiang Mai favorite which feels predominantly vegetarian although there's a good choice for vegans. There are Western and Thai dishes, a wide range of juices and teas, and gluten free products both in the cafe and attached shop.

It's a perfect spot to meet friends and have a relaxed breakfast or do a bit of work. Quiet, serene atmosphere in a little tropical garden.

Pros: Peaceful garden, Great range of food and produce, Wide range of different juices and teas

Cons: Plastic straws altho bamboo available for charge

Very nice place

Beautiful place to chill out, lots of vegan choises for breakfast. I loved to spend my free mornings there or to just take some takeaway sweets, which are simple and delicious.

Oh my god they have vegan donuts, croissants and cakes

My wife wanted to try everything but I sensibly instilled calm and rationality into the mix and suggested we try 3 things and come back another day. So we had the donut and multi grain croissant which were both lovely. Start with the croissant because it isn't overly sweet more savoury and the donut is covered in sugar most of which we rubbed off. Last we had the carrot cake which was very nice but we found the frosting to be a bit disappointing, it was overly sweet and rock hard... a soft cream (not) cheese flavoured with carrot and orange is usually my preference for carrot cake. I mentioned this to the staff who were very friendly and seemed receptive to my idea for how the carrot cake could be improved by replacing the hard frosting with a cashew nut carrot and orange cream (not) cheese. Lovely all the same. We'll be back tomorrow no doubt to try a bunch more delicacies

great ambience

I love this place! It's not just a restaurant, but a combination of shop, restaurant and bakery.
You can buy lots of supplements and nutritional food and healthy products here. the items in the bakery are delicious and most of them are vegan. you can also buy products like soaps, incentc, essential oils etc

the restaurant is quite nice, its an open space with lots of plants and a small fountain with a pond with fish (the pond is too small for the fish). the menu is quite big and overwhelming! its not vegan, but there are lots of vegan option and you can make most meals vegan!
the breakfast set is my favorite, you get a coffee/tea with scrambled tofu (the best in chiang mai!), hash potatoes and bread for 140b. the potion is quite big and could easily be 1.5-2 meals.
the staff is very friendly and the prices are good

Best selection of pastries

Go to the back for their vegan cakes and pastries. Enough choice to last a year. Cakes and croissants are amazing. Cinnamon buns and cookies were stale.

Lovely bakery with great vegan options

They offer a big variety of vegan dishes and nearly all the baked goods are vegan, many are gluten free. We enjoyed a tofu mushroom sandwich with extra vegan cheese. It was served with 2 different vegan sauces (vegan avocado mayo and BBQ sauce). It was very fresh and tasty. Delicious vegan food and coffee. Soy milk is available.

We also tried the khow-soy curry noodle soup and the avocado salad with tempeh and miso dressing. It was both very delicious and a big portion. The fruit salad with soy yogurt and muesli and the whole wheat vegan croissant are very delicious. The vegan muffins, chocolate cheesecake and donuts are also very tasty. The vegan carrot cake is the best I've had so far. We tried the carrot and the chocolate muffin and the sugared donut. They have a little tray with reduced baked goods for 10 THB. They taste as good as ever and you can save a little money.

They also have a little store inside, where you can buy nuts, oils, soap bars, shampoo and conditioner bars etc. Really awesome place and nice people.

Pros: Many vegan options, good price, big portions

Excellent pastries

The croissant was the best vegan croissant I've ever had (very moist, fluffy and tasty). The vegan carrot cake also happened to be on of the best cakes I've ever eaten. The banana and chocolate chip muffin was also really good.

The coffee is OK. One suggestion I would have is for there to be vegan breakfast sets on the menu (at the moment they're mostly vegetarian with egg etc), so it would be nice to see a full vegan breakfast option without having to customise the non-vegan ones. For example, Vegan Heaven do an amazing vegan breakfast with hash browns, scrambled tofu, baked beans, fried tomato, sausage and salad.

The cakes oh my gosh the cakes

I did have a pretty awesome curry here but it wasn’t the most memorable thing in the world. However.... THE CAKES. THR CAKES OMG. they have so many vegan cakes. Donuts, muffins, breads, coconut ice cream. Yep. And golly the little macaroons! Yeeesssssss. I did see a pretty big rat here though, he seemed friendly.

The atmosphere

I just love the atmosphere. The garden, the small organic shop with organic cosmetics, superfoods and a great selection of handmade vegan baked goods. Try the cinnamon rolls!!!
The garden ist very nice and the staff too.
Glass noodle salat was also very good, very fresh. plus the fried tofu with peanut sauce!
I had a noodle soup once that was a little bland but they have a lot of spices so that you can spice it up to your liking.

What I don't like is that every thing (to go) is packed in plastic. And they are using plastic straws. Hope they change to more eco friendly solutions soon!

Pros: Many vegan options, Vegan baked goods

Cons: Some dishes are more flavourful than others, A lot of plastic packaging

Good place

Went there several times during my stay in chiang mai. Felt like they could veganise everything on the menu. Had good soups, curries and breakfast. They got confused with the milk for my coffee twice and didn't believe me that it was definitely cow milk they served accidentally. But they replaced it with soy milk. Besides that it is a very organized place with a good value! Not to mention the beautiful garden you sit in.

No flavor...

Cute spot but food is not good. Had the tofu, avocado sandwich and it had no seasoning, the soy yogurt was sour and tasted bad, the papaya was bitter, (like unriped or bad quality) cut into the yogurt. The coffe was soooo bad, it tasted burned. No, no, no. The only good thing was the cinnamon roll

Restaurant + boutique

Cinnamon roll delicious

I was a bit overwhelmed by the amount of different flavours of muffins they have and so many vegan!
I wanted to try the cinnamon roll but the tray was empty.
As I was trying to decide what to get instead the lady brought out a fresh new tray of cinnamon buns!
Whoooosh I was straight in there
35baht! Bargain
It was very sweet but it’s just what I wanted
It was gooey
Covered in icing
Delicious.
Not very healthy but I want another right now

Pros: Delicious sweet treats

Cons: Staff were not friendly , Inside is cramped
