The blackened tofu is spectacular, seared to perfection. Only wish the portion size was a bit bigger.

Lovely and cozy dinner spot - Edit
Vegan options marked on the menu and usually a vegan soup. Love the nettle pasta (ask to sub vegan butter), tofu sandwich, and tofu stir fry. Several other options can be made vegan as well. Always great service, allergy conscious, and great cozy atmosphere for date night.

Has a handful of good vegan options. Their menu rotates seasonally so things come and go. Absolutely love their tofu stir fry. Nice and intimate atmosphere inside. Would definitely recommend!

I got the stuffed mushroom caps with vegan cream cheese as an appetizer and an iced coffee. The oat milk and vegan cream cheese was good. I ordered the green curry tofu as it seemed to be a safe vegan option since my waitress did know the answer to any questions about vegan options on other dishes. It was a very bland and definitely overpriced. I doubt I’ll ever be back.

I appreciate that they have multiple options for both brunch and lunch. However, I personally found that the most recent times I’ve gone I have been underwhelmed with the food (especially in comparison to the price). Probably won’t be back but I know a lot of people that do enjoy it.

I ordered the potato Bowl made vegan. The potatoes and vegetables were really good but that mushroom gravy was divine. The biscuit was all right but with the gravy it was really good. The service was really slow and they really messed up on my husband's food. Our kids really love their non vegan food.

Was browsing Happy Cow during a snack at Chez Elle across the street and saw that BBB was in there so we decided to try it for dinner. I didn't actually check HC to see what exactly was vegan so I just looked at the menu. After talking to the server she asked about the vegan option that was under the "Catfish" and apparently it's cajun (blackened) tofu over dirty rice with green beans and an aioli made with vegenaise😄The tofu was absolutely delicious and it was cut thin so it got crispy (my favorite). It's about $4-5 less (think the catfish is $21) if you sub tofu. It was delicious and I really enjoyed it. It's a bit overpriced so that's the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars, won't come back unless were in the area of Chez Elle but a good option if we are in the area.

This restaurant is stellar. They are farm to table for one which is so awesome. All there biscuits are vegan which I absouletly love. They are very accomindating with vegan butter, mayo and other stuff. My favorites are the green curry and the vegan fancy cakes. But you can never go wrong with vegan chocolate chip pancakes. Sooo good!

I wish they indicated on their menu what is vegan and what isn’t. One time I asked the waiter what was vegan on the menu and he mention something that clearly had meat in it. Service is also spotted with inattentive waiters occasionally. That being said, the food is delicious and unique. I definitely go for the food.

The restaurant is super cute inside! However our waiter was no where to be seen when we needed him and we were the only ones in the restaurant. The menu was pretty limited on vegan options. When we were finally able to order and receive our food it was good though! Probably won’t be returning however

I went here with my mom and her friend as a compromise restaurant. There's something for everyone, vegan and non-vegan. I was the only one who ordered the vegan items. Lovely atmosphere and had a wonderful waitress. I had the black bean burger, which was okay, a little on the bland side. What won me over was the corn soup, which had to be the best soup I've ever had in my life. I loved it so much I took an order to go. I also had the vegan chocolate tart, which was so rich and amazing. If I lived in KC, this would definitely be a regular place for me.
