delicious dishes, poor desserts

We ordered a pizza with sun-dried tomatoes and olives and a creamy gnocchi, they were extremely delicious.
Then, we ordered a tiramisu and a panna cotta, they were disappointing. The panna cotta's caramel was so burnt that we felt the burnt taste. The tiramisu was not like a tiramisu , it was something else.

Pros: They helped us without prior reservation

Cons: They do not accept any cards except local cards

Incredible Vegan Food

Such amazing food and range of options in a cosy, cute restaurant in the centre of Lisbon. Absolutely loved this place and would put it top of my list of places to go back to if I ever visit Lisbon again!

Amazing experience

The co-owner works the front of the house, her Italian partner is the chef. She is an absolute delight and manages to run things smoothly. We ordered the soy skewers with a salad as a starter. The description does not do the dish justice. It was absolutely incredible and enough for two to share easily.
We ordered the lasagne and although it freaked me out a little, the Radbit. Obviously I've never eaten a bunny so I tried to think of it as generic fake meat. There is a large wine selection by the bottle and nice beers and wine by the glass. I do have some constructive criticism, but that does not minimize the awesomeness of the food, or the lovely vibe overall.
We both felt the food was truly delicious, but just too salty. I feel like I'm seeing this in a lot of restaurants, but it is so unnecessary. The other thing was that the food needed to be served hotter. It was warm, but very quickly became cool and it would be nicer to get the food really hot from the oven so you don't feel you need to rush to eat before it is cold.

Pros: Food is brilliant, Delightful service, Prices are reasonable

Cons: Saltiness

One of the best meals I’ve ever had

If more restaurants like this existed, the world would be a purer place. It’s owned by a Sicilian couple and was one of the best meals I’ve ever had - creative vegan home cooking at its finest. If I could give 6 stars, I would! We were absolutely blown away by the quality, richness of flavor, customer service and ambiance. To die for!

Pros: Options, Vibe, Hospitality

Cozy & excellent vegan italian food.

The bruschetta were delicious, you should taste that roasted sourdough bread. Very nice ambiance outside, quiet but inside Alfama. The Service was very attendive & pleasant. Good vegan Italian cuisine cooked and served with passion.

Delicious comfort Italian Vegan food ♡

Everything was exceptional, from the caring service, the beautifully crafted food and the places' hommy feeling ♡
Our favorite of the night was the Radbitt! The seasoning and texture from both the protein and potatoes, was just perfect! ;)
Very happy to know that we still have places like this in Lisbon, where quality and love for food are a staple, while keeping up high veganism ♡ T H A N K YOU!

Pros: Radbitt and potatoes: to die for, The service: star of the night

Wonderful

The food was amazing here! Small place with only a few tables so make a reservation in advance. We tried pizza, lasagna, and tiramisu. You would never know it was vegan.

Great pasta, nice pizza

The pizza is authentic Italian style. The place is cozy, and the food is comfortable.

For vegan Italian food, it is a great place in Lisbon.

Also, this is in the heart of “old Lisbon”, so after lunch/dinner you can enjoy a walk around Alfama.

Pros: Taste, Service, Location

Cons: Deserts

Best italian in town

It doesn't matter if you're vegan or not - this is for sure one of the best Italians you will ever have the opportunity to go to. The food is delicious and really feels like a homemade meal. The owners are super nice and will make you feel like you're at home. Really the place to visit when in town!

Pros: The delicious food, The owners, The environment

Amazing Italian Restaurant

I was lucky enough to get a booking in Al Sanpietrino Trattoria on our family trip to Lisbon. It was a little difficult to find as there is no signage, but the chef, Alex appeared from a small door where the kitchen is, and told us that they would be opening shortly. The restaurant is small inside but beautifully decorated; authentic, intimate and atmospheric. There is seating for about 12 people, so it really feels like you are in somebody's home for dinner!

For starters, we chose the Bruschetta Caprese and Piadina Pizza Mamma Irma, both were superb, the pizza is huge (as our server had advised us!) and would have been enough for 4 as a starter. The menu looks so great that I would have liked to have tried everything on it. I had the Lasagne alla Bolognese for my main, it was absolutely perfect. My wife had the Spaghetti alla Carbonara and my kids both had the Tagliatelle al Pomodoro - all of us agreed that the food was simply amazing. The kids both said that it was the best Italian food they had ever had. For dessert, we had the Tiramisu which again was amazing.

Overall, the experience was incredible. Hands down the best restaurant I've ever been to, the fact that it is vegan and run by vegans makes it even better. Even the prices were unbelievable value. This place is unmissable.

Pros: Everything.

Amazing italian vegan food!

The food and atmosphere at this restaurant is absolutely wonderful. It’s a small intimate space with the loveliest staff and the food is some of the best we’ve had, generous portions and delicious flavours.

Note that they prefer cash payment unless you have a portoguese card ☺️

Pros: Amazing homemade food, Atmosphere, Friendly and relaxed staff

6 stars

Vegan Italian food that tastes like the real thing! The amatriciana was truly amazing. Their menu has interesting dishes instead of the usual, stereotypical stuff. Seriously, don't skip this place.

The owners, a Swiss woman and an Italian man, are very nice. Don't forget to reserve a table: it's a small place and busy. Payment is cash or Portuguese card.
A bit hard to find since it's not marked, but I managed with Google maps!

Delicious authentic Italian vegan food

This is a delightful small restaurant in a wonderful old neighborhood in Lisbon. A reservation is required. The food was delicious. We had the Bruschetta which was so good we were speechless, the Lasagna & the Rigatoni - both delicious. The Tiramisu is amazing - be sure to get that, or the Wine sauce with the Panna Cotta - that was amazing as well. I almost ordered double desserts😄

Wee belter

A tiny restaurant that must be booked.
Lovely people who are passionate about food and veganism.
Tofish to start in a rich olive tomato sauce. The main was bucatini al Amatriciana with a pretty good home made Parmesan. They even brought complimentary lamb skewers which were tops.
Great place but make sure you book it.

Wow A Vegan Heaven

We had a late night cruise stop in port in Lisbon and as Al Sanpietrino was literally across the road from the cruise terminal we booked a table as soon as they opened. They take bookings only and it's only cash for those who don't have Portuguese credit cards. The chef is Alex and front of house is Kazia. It's a beautiful cosy place inside but don't be put off as from the front before they open It's basically a door on a cobbled street and we thought we'd gone to the wrong place. The food is all Italian as Alex is from Piemonte and has links to Sicily. The food was amazing, we had bruschetta and tofish alla Siciliana , spaghetti carbonara and spaghetti pomodoro and if there is one dish you have to try it's the tiramisu. We could not fault the whole experience. Kazia was so friendly and we shouted through the kitchen door backing onto the street as we left to tell Alex how wonderful the food was. Not to be missed in Lisbon.

I SAPORI DELL’INFANZIA

Inoltre siete cordiali, dolci, ospitali. Come mangiare a casa. Un sogno. Tornerò prestissimo. Grazie, grazie.

Pros: Qualità , Cortesia, Sapori eccelsi

A magic place/ un posto magico

A magic place. A little Italy in Lisbon, feel like eating my grandma food in a vegan version. The place is super cute and the vibe are super relaxing, absolutely a must to go if you are vegan and even if you are not … I enjoyed so much that I feel I need to write a review in Italian as well … 😂

Most incredible restaurant in the world

If you do one thing in Lisbon, please make sure you visit this restaurant!!! I think I’m officially now calling it my favourite restaurant I’ve ever been to.

Firstly the restaurant itself is just so cute, romantic, authentic, intimate, but also really homely. It is a little hard to find but look at the pictures on Google maps, and once you enter it is like a totally private intimate dinner setting, completely transporting you to another place. Because there are only a few tables there, please make sure you book in advance as they get booked up quickly!

The menu looked so incredible and it was really hard to choose. Everything we ordered beyond surpassed our expectations. We tried the fondue, lasagna, carbonara and tiramisu. All were INCREDIBLE! I wish we could try everything, honestly it was all so incredibly tasty but also very authentic tasting too.

We learnt that the restaurant was managed, owned, run by a couple. Their story is beautiful and made the experience that much more special! The chef was taught by his Italian mum and has done such a huge service to incredible, authentic Italian food - and even making it vegan with absolutely no compromise on anything (in fact I’d argue it’s even better 😉)

The service was so good, and they were so kind to give the tiramisu on the house for my 30th birthday! I’m so glad to have visited this beautiful incredible restaurant.

I just hope everyone can try this restaurant as it really is a one of a kind experience all round.

Pros: Best food , Best ambiance, Best service
