Best italian in town - Edit
It doesn't matter if you're vegan or not - this is for sure one of the best Italians you will ever have the opportunity to go to. The food is delicious and really feels like a homemade meal. The owners are super nice and will make you feel like you're at home. Really the place to visit when in town!

Amazing Italian Restaurant - Edit
I was lucky enough to get a booking in Al Sanpietrino Trattoria on our family trip to Lisbon. It was a little difficult to find as there is no signage, but the chef, Alex appeared from a small door where the kitchen is, and told us that they would be opening shortly. The restaurant is small inside but beautifully decorated; authentic, intimate and atmospheric. There is seating for about 12 people, so it really feels like you are in somebody's home for dinner!
Read moreFor starters, we chose the Bruschetta Caprese and Piadina Pizza Mamma Irma, both were superb, the pizza is huge (as our server had advised us!) and would have been enough for 4 as a starter. The menu looks so great that I would have liked to have tried everything on it. I had the Lasagne alla Bolognese for my main, it was absolutely perfect. My wife had the Spaghetti alla Carbonara and my kids both had the Tagliatelle al Pomodoro - all of us agreed that the food was simply amazing. The kids both said that it was the best Italian food they had ever had. For dessert, we had the Tiramisu which again was amazing.
Overall, the experience was incredible. Hands down the best restaurant I've ever been to, the fact that it is vegan and run by vegans makes it even better. Even the prices were unbelievable value. This place is unmissable.
Pros: Everything.

Vegan Italian food that tastes like the real thing! The amatriciana was truly amazing. Their menu has interesting dishes instead of the usual, stereotypical stuff. Seriously, don't skip this place.
Read moreThe owners, a Swiss woman and an Italian man, are very nice. Don't forget to reserve a table: it's a small place and busy. Payment is cash or Portuguese card.
A bit hard to find since it's not marked, but I managed with Google maps!

Delicious authentic Italian vegan food - Edit
This is a delightful small restaurant in a wonderful old neighborhood in Lisbon. A reservation is required. The food was delicious. We had the Bruschetta which was so good we were speechless, the Lasagna & the Rigatoni - both delicious. The Tiramisu is amazing - be sure to get that, or the Wine sauce with the Panna Cotta - that was amazing as well. I almost ordered double desserts😄

A tiny restaurant that must be booked.
Read moreLovely people who are passionate about food and veganism.
Tofish to start in a rich olive tomato sauce. The main was bucatini al Amatriciana with a pretty good home made Parmesan. They even brought complimentary lamb skewers which were tops.
Great place but make sure you book it.

Wow A Vegan Heaven - Edit
We had a late night cruise stop in port in Lisbon and as Al Sanpietrino was literally across the road from the cruise terminal we booked a table as soon as they opened. They take bookings only and it's only cash for those who don't have Portuguese credit cards. The chef is Alex and front of house is Kazia. It's a beautiful cosy place inside but don't be put off as from the front before they open It's basically a door on a cobbled street and we thought we'd gone to the wrong place. The food is all Italian as Alex is from Piemonte and has links to Sicily. The food was amazing, we had bruschetta and tofish alla Siciliana , spaghetti carbonara and spaghetti pomodoro and if there is one dish you have to try it's the tiramisu. We could not fault the whole experience. Kazia was so friendly and we shouted through the kitchen door backing onto the street as we left to tell Alex how wonderful the food was. Not to be missed in Lisbon.

I SAPORI DELL’INFANZIA - Edit
Inoltre siete cordiali, dolci, ospitali. Come mangiare a casa. Un sogno. Tornerò prestissimo. Grazie, grazie.

A magic place/ un posto magico - Edit
A magic place. A little Italy in Lisbon, feel like eating my grandma food in a vegan version. The place is super cute and the vibe are super relaxing, absolutely a must to go if you are vegan and even if you are not … I enjoyed so much that I feel I need to write a review in Italian as well … 😂

Most incredible restaurant in the world - Edit
If you do one thing in Lisbon, please make sure you visit this restaurant!!! I think I’m officially now calling it my favourite restaurant I’ve ever been to.
Read moreFirstly the restaurant itself is just so cute, romantic, authentic, intimate, but also really homely. It is a little hard to find but look at the pictures on Google maps, and once you enter it is like a totally private intimate dinner setting, completely transporting you to another place. Because there are only a few tables there, please make sure you book in advance as they get booked up quickly!
The menu looked so incredible and it was really hard to choose. Everything we ordered beyond surpassed our expectations. We tried the fondue, lasagna, carbonara and tiramisu. All were INCREDIBLE! I wish we could try everything, honestly it was all so incredibly tasty but also very authentic tasting too.
We learnt that the restaurant was managed, owned, run by a couple. Their story is beautiful and made the experience that much more special! The chef was taught by his Italian mum and has done such a huge service to incredible, authentic Italian food - and even making it vegan with absolutely no compromise on anything (in fact I’d argue it’s even better 😉)
The service was so good, and they were so kind to give the tiramisu on the house for my 30th birthday! I’m so glad to have visited this beautiful incredible restaurant.
I just hope everyone can try this restaurant as it really is a one of a kind experience all round.
Pros: Best food , Best ambiance, Best service

A nice place, not more than that - Edit
The best thing at this restaurant was the great service - the waitress was super nice and available even when the place was busy.
Read moreWhat we didn’t like as much was the food - it was not bad but definitely not what we expected based on previous critiques. The gnocchi was slightly bland, the white pizza was too sweet and the caccio a pepe was nice but not at all close to the original. However, it’s worth mentioning the green salad that was great, as well as the lasagna.

Delicious Italian food in a cute small restaurant with sweet staff ♥️ - Edit
Because some of the comments about small portions, we orderd a bit too much. Now I’m full for the coming days 😂 food was delicious, we especially liked the mini gnocchi and the lasagna. Unfortunately they don’t have the cheeseplatter anymore. They made all the cheeses themselves and it didn’t get ordered enough.

Little Italy in Alfama 💚 - Edit
You will absolutely miss it. When passing during day time. But when it opens this special place appears out of nowhere. You will here Italian music and have nice Italian styled seatings. You will be served with passion and original Italian - of course 100% vegan - food made by an Italian chef. Actually right now it’s only 2 people running this place (so don’t forget to tip for their passion and friendly and caring services!). You can choose from a very big variety given the small size of this place. They really do their best to make a visit of yours a truly unique and tasty and special experience. Don’t forget to book in advance!

This was the most INCREDIBLE meal I have ever had!
Read moreWe have been starving since we got to Lisbon as we were staying on the outskirts.
This was a diamond in the rough
Located on a beautiful patio there are checked table cloths and it looks like you have stepped into Italy.
There was not one fault with the food! You have to try it to believe it.
The service was amazing as well.
JUST A NOTE
They don’t take worldwide card payments so it’s cash only from that respect there is a ATM literally 1 minute away but just be aware of this.
