Super lecker

Wir waren in diesem Restaurant mehrere Male während unseren Aufenthaltes in Lissabon. Sehr leckere Calzone, Pasta, andere traditionelle italienische Gerichte. Sehr nette Besitzerin, die nebenbei etwas erzählt. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Pros: Super lecker, To go

Cons: Besser ist, man reserviert

Some of the best food I've ever had

The food was so good my friends and I (two of us vegan, one omni) literally wanted to cry. The owner is amazing and super friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed and beautiful. You definitely need a reservation though since they only have eight tables. For being such a small restaurant the service was super quick and they offer a big selection of food (some of the dishes were not available because they didn't have the ingredients, which is totally understandable for a small and new business). I literally have nothing bad to say, definitely 12/10

Hidden gem in the streets of Lisbon

In a tiny alley where you would never expect to find anything lies this beautiful little restaurant with great food and lovely friendly staff.

From what I can gather they make authentic Italian dishes, staff is very nice at greeting and helping you pick your order, food is amazing and great atmosphere to relax and unwind.

Pros: Friendly staff, Food quality

Cons: Menu could be a bit clearer

The best restaurant in Lisbon

After going there twice we decided to make this a weekly ritual with all of our friends visiting because the food is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! The chef spent the 2,5 months during lockdown to work on the perfect pizza dough and its safe to say that he succeeded - so good! The homemade gnocchi and lasagne were perfect as well. From 6 to 8 pm they serve “aperitivo” (bread with tomatoes and hummus and pasta afterwards). The menu after 8 pm changes weekly and everything is just amazing.

I guess you need to like Neapolitan pizza....

Well, first of all, the owners are really very willing and hospitable and this is a business from the heart, which is a big plus. They only use fresh ingredients and make everything from scratch, even the vegan cheese, which is also really great. That is why I was a bit reluctant in the beginning to write them a review at all but I think every restaurant also need critical feedback to improve and they seemed to appreciate the honesty as well. So, apparently they make the Pizza the Neapolitan way, which means very thick dough, some tomato sauce, almost no cheese or toppings whatsoever, My "pepperoni" pizza did not even have any pepperoni on top and only 4 tiny slices of "chorizo". My friends calzone was also basically just dough. Don´t get me wrong, their dough is really amazing, very fluffy and juicy, anyway, the dishes lack taste and I was really disappointed with my dinner. Given that Lisbon has a lot of vegan options for pizza I regretted coming here and would not recommand it as it is now food-wise, on the other hand it is nice to support young vegan entrepreneurs.

Great people serving great food

You know these places where you come for the first time and you want to go again the next day? Horacio is such a place. Super friendly, nice and funny people that serve great food. The lasagna and the pizza were amazing; the combination of the balance of flavors and the structure of the food delivered to me a great taste sensation.

Pros: Great people, Good food

MUST VISIT

Everything about our dinner here was amazing.
We had a parmigiana as an appetizer and decided to order three main courses to share, it was all absolutely delicious.
The staff was very friendly and you can see they're very passionate about their business.
One of the best vegan restaurants in town.

Pros: Not expensive., Delicious food.

Delicious Italian food

The food was a great surprise - we had parmigiana, pizza pugliese e spaghetti carbonara and were very impressed by the quality of it all - I mean, I am still dreaming of the carbonara...

Pros: Down to earth, how-mamma-used-to-make-it food

Cons: Not many tables, call in advance to book your spot

Lovely terrace, tasty food

We went by for dinner and really enjoyed it. There were 3 pasta dishes to choose from and I believe 4-5 pizzas. The prices were totally reasonable, the food was good, and all was fully vegan. Would recommend if you're in the area.

Well worth the short walk!

This place deserves more credits. Besides from home made pastas, there’s a lot of other (Italian) options. All veggie or vegan. It’s honest food. Plus nice terrace and affordable. People speak English here :)

Pros: All veggie/vegan, Affordable , car-free area

Cons: 10 minute walk from city

Excellent Italian snack bar in old town Alfama :)

We had an excellent lunch at Horacio, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming... multi-lingual, knowledgeable, and the food was delicious! Proper authentic Italian cuisine (the owners are all Italian) and very affordable prices. We both had the soup of the day and gnocchi, and it was super tasty.. i would highly recommend it to anyone who is visiting Alfama or Lisbon in general :D

Pros: Tasty food!, Friendly staff, Affordable
