hey Andrea,
we finally decided to switch continent (LOL) and go to the buritto place just near the park, Boloco= non vegan but very vegan friendly. too many bad aspects rel to My Thai and would not take any chance esp for the kids. I knew about Clover and the Salmonella outburst; actually they were very transparent, nothing was sure, but would not take any risk, I respect them for that. Oh, Veggie Galaxy is on my list, how did you know??? It is planned for day #2, lunch, cant wait. I am dreaming about their baked deserts....
And you B7B is saved in my favs now
Thanks for everything and if ever you plan on coming to Montreal, I could give you some hints
Take care,
Aza

thanks a lot andrea, for a prompt and exhaustive message.
we are staying at hilton,s, double tree by the bay, for 3 days. we will leave the car at the hotel, since i understood it is insane to go downtown by car (esp for tourists). we'll take the hotel free shuttle downtown and then use the tour buses of viator tours, so we are mostly stuck to their route and have to find veg'n restaurants not far from it, for lunch and supper. i have done extensive research and have found more than we could need, thank God, but for this particular one I had mixed feelings. we'll be in boston common the first afternoon and tought of eating in chinatown. and the way you described MT, we have already been to their ... step sister in downtown ottawa lol....except for staff were really nice and spoke some basic english. anyway, I think we might just try the clover ft near station south or the buritto shop just near the park entrance, they seem to have a few vegan options, and we could just eat in the park, right??? after a 6 hour drive...
thanks a lot again, you helped me have a more precise idea.
as for your b&b, please send me a link to your internet site and maybe next time we'll stay there.
take care.

Hi Andrea,

We are a vegan family with young kids, from Montreal, and will be visiting Boston in a couple of days. I was going thru the reviews for My Thai and the latest ones do not seem very promissing. Since you live in Boston and area reguilar (were a regular, at least) at this restaurant, I was wondering if you have been there recentlyu and if it is still a good place to eat. For us it takes a lot of planning, with young kids, so if we arrive there and it is not good, it is complicated to readjust our schedule.
A big thank you in advance, for your answer. You could write to me directly at: [email protected]
Have a great day,
Aza
