happy to find vegetarian place
My husband and I located this place on your website and saw the ads in the insert from the Chinook Observer and wanted to try it. I was very pleased with the veggie burger and the green salad. My husband is not vegetarian, so he had grilled cheese, which he said was fine, but a little pricy. I will definately come back as soon as I can. Nice, easy atmosphere. The baked goods are like homemade.

This is a store I always stop at when in the Long Beach area. It is a much needed alternative to the junk food markets. I hope they are always successful.I wish only we had a store like it where I live.

Have been there twice now, Had lunch there today. I had the hippie burger with potato salad and kale salad. He even threw in some fries. Was very good! If I lived closer I would go there frequently especially knowing he has all vegan food. So hard to find places like this.

We have been to this place a number of times when shopping at the co-op or other places. My husband is picky , but has had the best club sandwich and garlic fries there. He is not vegetarian, but I needed to find options and I have tried most of the vegan menu and my favorites are the noodle salad, sans tofu, and the super salad. The one guy that usually cooks does a good job like he cares, but the service can be too slow. Almost every time has been a good experience. The atmosphere is interesting. The fries portions have shrunk in half-husband not happy. Pricing okay.

I got to try QB in December 2010 at someone's suggestion for lunch. The burrito was large (vegan) with sweet potato fries and dipping sauce. The burrito and sauce could use a little more seasoning and the fries need to be crisped up. The flavors were okay. i would probably go back and try something else.

I was impressed with the store. I would shop there often if I did not live so far away. Too bad there is not an all vegan store close.

I have been there a couple of times. I just wish there was an all vegan store in every city and was closer to my home. A great selection for a good cause. I would have to order the items I want from the internet that I can buy there in person. When I go to Vegfest I hope to be able to stop by there again.

Searching for real food
I had a vegan calzone, which was good, and a limeade which was excellent since it was fresh squeezed. I liked the atmosphere there, but like in the previous review, the staff was not real friendly. That was a little off-putting for me. My husband had a slice of pepperoni pizza that he thought was average and an Olympia beer. I would have to think about going back there. You also have to clear your own table, which I don't mind. It's hard to find vegan food for me,since I have to go an hour from home, at least, unless I prepare it myself. "Clean" food is important to me.

out of the way cafe
Ihave been there 2 times before the new ownership and liked what I had both times. The atmosphere was relaxed, but was not very clean. I still would go back if I get a chance as it is hard to find an all -vegan place anywhere. Too bad I live so far away.
