Best vegan pizza & fudge cake I’ve ever had - Edit
Went to Zizzi with my non-vegan family and everyone really enjoyed it! They treat allergies (like gluten) with careful consideration, so you can have a stress-free, delicious meal.

Decent vegan options - Edit
Updated review March 2025:
Read moreAfter a gap of a few months, I really enjoyed my lentil ragu from here, a new addition to the menu. The vegan cheesecake was also tasty, although I personally prefer more for the biscuit base. Great to see multiple vegan options for dessert!
Original review October 2024:
I got the same pizza from here twice by takeaway around the same time but was disappointed the second time that they had actually changed the vegan meatball recipe and not for the better. It is tasty but greasy. The pizza arrives uncut which is odd.
I had a bad experience with Uber Eats where it took two hours to be delivered and thus arrived stone cold - not the restaurant's fault. I wouldn't mind visiting the restaurant location sometime.

There is no longer a separate vegan menu - Edit
When asked, a server confirmed there was no longer a separate vegan menu - that said there is still a good vegan range on the normal menu, it is just more limited. There are a couple of pasta dishes, a pizza and a couple of vegan-friendly desserts.
Read moreI really enjoyed the food - it is always good and filling there, with decent portion sizes.
I got the vegan harissa meatball pizza. I don’t usually like the texture of vegan meatballs, but they were a bit crumbly and crispier than I expected, so it was much better than I expected. I also got the zillionaires chocolate fudge cake - this was a real treat as many places don’t have a vegan dessert option while Zizzi’s has several. My non-vegan friend tried both and loved the food too - we’ve been talking about how good the cake was ever since!
Pros: Decent number of vegan options still available, Really good dessert options , Satisfying food
Cons: I miss the full vegan menu!

Decent - Edit
Nice food and staff are nice. I'm not sure if they have as many items as other locations, it didn't seem like they did. I had a pizza which you can't go wrong with. The service was very fast. Also a very good place to go with omni friends.

Very nice food, great service. Had to wait 30 min outside before we got our table even though we had a reservation, but once inside everything was great.

Ya no tienen un menú vegano separado, solamente uno con opciones. La lasaña vegana está bastante bien, pero los entrantes fueron un poco decepcionantes.

It’s pizza - Edit
It’s pretty much what you would expect from a place like this. They do have a separate vegan menu, which is nice, all you have to do is ask your server. It is a tad misleading, though, because while it looks big, they don’t often have everything available. It was a quick lunch when we needed it, though, and the food was decent.

Separate vegan menu - Edit
When we told the waitress that we were vegan, she gave us a separate vegan menu. Although not everything listed there was available, there were still many choices. We opted for the bruschetta, the meat balls and the pizza margherita, and shared everything between us. The food tasted very good.
Read moreThe restaurant itself is nothing special and the service was a bit slow, but it was what we felt like at the time because we always like the food at Zizzi‘s and it is a no fuss place where you know what you get. The location is good as well.

Limited options on the day - Edit
When I was there last week they only had vegan margarita pizza - all other vegan options were unavailable. Half of drinks menu (cocktails, beers) were unavailable. Not great service, tricky to order through not very user friendly app. Perhaps it was just this one day but did not have a great experience.

Needs Some Work - Edit
Zizzi is located just off trendy Grafton street and steps away from Trinity College.
Read moreThis was my first time at Zizzi and my experience fell a bit short. There were a few bumps along the way in regards to several drinks and menu items not being available as well as with the food service.
It was explained that many items from the menu were not available due to supplier issues because of COVID. We were told about several drinks that were not available and then about some other dishes not available when going to order them. With the amount of dishes / cocktails not available it would be helpful if perhaps something was left on the table or attached to the menu listing out of stock menu items. I understand that things may not run as smooth now but I also think it can be communicated a bit better.
Once the several food service issues were dealt with we were ready to eat! I had one of the vegan pizzas, the little soul balls (ultimately bread balls) and for desert I had the millionaire square. The pizza wasn’t anything special and was fairly plain while the little soul balls were balls of cooked dough. It would be really nice if they were filled with something - nothing to crazy but just something to make them a bit more exciting. There is a place in Edmonton, Canada called Die Pie and they have mastered these!
Not sure I’d go back or not. Maybe to give the pasta a try but I probably wouldn’t right away. It’s a bit expensive for the meals not to be perfect. But either time to get back into the swing of things or some adjustments and I’d probably give it another go.
The staff were good though and to be fair, they were really kind and quick when it came to correcting a few of the issues we had.

Very good vegan pizza - Edit
I have only ever ordered take-away from here, but the pizzas have always been excellent. Super thin crust and the vegan cheese is great. Would love if some of the options included vegan ham or tofu.

Just okay - Edit
We went there today. We ordered two gluten free pizzas that were vegan. They gave us real cheese on the first and then rectified it. But it was missing the basil. Overall, I felt like they were rushing to turn over tables without caring about the people and their needs. Very touristy and not worth the effort
