Good food and juices

We found this place by chance and ended up having lunch there. The fried noodles with vegetables (a Southeast Asian classic) were actually pretty good. Same about the watermelon juice, but it would have been better if they had filtered it or blended it a bit longer, it was full of seeds. My girlfriend had just a mango juice and liked it very much. We were the only clients at the restaurant at that moment. The staff is friendly and even gave us some sweets in the end as a dessert. They say they use mostly organic ingredients, but I have my doubts about it. The prices are fair, lower than the ones you’ll find in the vegetarian restaurants close to the Amanda Temple in Old Bagan.

Pros: Cheap, Friendly staff

Tasty food, great price, nice owner

I had the Myanmar food with vegetable - it was a lovely bean soup, vegetable curry-like dish with peas, eggplant, cauliflower, carrot, etc and white rice, along with just-squeezed orange juice. Love the fresh veggies option (rather than tofu, etc). Outdoor seating under a canopy next to the house was lovely at night w lanterns. They also provided welcome green tea and a sweet at the end. The owner was welcoming and kind. Will visit again for the avo salad!

Pros: Lots of vegetarian options , Nice atmosphere, Great price

Cozy place with tasty, cheap food outside of new Bagan

We first saw this place as we drove from New Bagan to the railway station to make a reservation for our train to Mandalay. In the end, we ended up visiting this place twice. Once for dinner and once for lunch. The food is fantastic and freshly prepared with fruits and veggies from the garden. If you go, you have to try the tomato and avocado salad. Both are delicious. The owner speaks only a few words English but is very friendly and chatty. If you are looking for great and cheap food, then this place has to be on your list.

Pros: Tasty food, Good price, Friendly owner
