Reasons why I prefer to eat vegetarian or vegan:
For me, veganism means peace. Unfortunately, in a world where not many people see this, being vegetarian or vegan is a daily battle. I prefer veganism because I think this is one of the best ways to reach harmony among all the species on this planet.
I joined HappyCow Members Community because:
When traveling around Bolivia, in September 2015, a girl I met there told me about HappyCow. She was using it to find vegan restaurants in every city she visited, I found the idea pretty nice and now I'm happy for being a HappyCow member too!
Here are some places I've been that I liked... and places that I would like to visit one day:
Hard question. I've visited 37 countries so far and the differences among them make them unique and hard to compare. Anyway, some countries I like very much are Germany, Turkey, the Netherlands, Armenia and the Baltic countries. I also like Uruguay. I'm keen to visit Asia (Lao, Cambodia, Thailand) and New Zealand.
Some of my favorite veg*n foods include:
I like soups, creams, salads, pastas, burgers (the lentil one is gorgeous!), fresh fruits.
Here are some books, movies, magazines, and my favorites that I would recommend to other HappyCow members:
"Seven Years in Tibet", written by Heinrich Harrer, is one of the most remarkable books I've read. "Forrest Gump" is my favorite movie.
