Great hidden gem - Edit
With extremely limited hours and long waits, I don't understand how this place is still in business. That being said, I love it and I go here whenever I'm in the area. The Whole Enchilada made vegan is really good. I just wish they were open more!

Funky and tiny joint that has fed many famous musicians with a healthy and diverse menu and plenty of vegan choices. We arrived before 7 to an empty cafe and were asked if we had a reservation. We did not but they sat us anyway. They did turn away a couple that came afterwards and asked them to return in an hour. There was one cook and one server. We waited a significant amount of time for our food. It took us almost 2 hours from the time we walked in and we ate very quickly because we needed to get back on the road. I think most locals order takeout or plan to hang out for a long time. All that being said, the food was absolutely incredible and I really want to (plan ahead and) stop again on the way home.

Loved the place, food was amazing, the stir fry with tofu and tempeh was incredible. Not greasy or oily. Super well balanced flavor. They also had vegan cookies, pie and icecream!!!!! Will totally come back

Service was really slow which was too bad because we were on a road trip and didn’t have an hour to waste.
People were very nice.
It seemed that most of not all of the people in the restaurant were vegan and I would expect that they could update their menu with more vegan entrees since it is hard to find vegan food. There are a lot of other places to go in Binghamton that have better choices.
Once again, the people were very nice and I hope they upgrade their vegan choices.

I enjoyed this place when it was the only place in town with vegan options. However they have not upgraded their vegan options with the times. Stuck in 1980s vegan options, ie; replace cheese with tofu, replace sour cream with tofu. Don’t get me wrong the food is alright. The dessert is a must though.

Awesome Vegan and Vegetarian Options - Edit
This restaurant has a great variety of Vegan and Vegetarian options, along with non-veg options for those who eat meat and dairy. We come up here every year to visit family, and will most definitely be back! The Whole Enchilada was spicy and delicious, and the Steamed Vegetables with Tamari Ginger sauce was perfectly complemented with tofu and tempeh.

Diverse Vegan Options! - Edit
The menu has 20+ vegan options and everything is labeled well for vegan, vegan available, and gluten free. I tried the fresh miso soup and the "whole" enchilada.
Read moreThe soup had raw spinach, a very flavorful broth, and fresh tofu. The enchilada was beautiful! A mountain of sprouts, fresh spinach and tomatoes topped this lovely dish. I loved the enchilada sauce and went with double black bean instead of tofu.
My next visit, I would like to try either the MidEast plate or the stir fried veggies :-) they also serve almond milk with coffee and have vegan desserts, ice cream, and cookies.

A true "whole" in the wall, little, peaceful place. Very tasty items on the menu, great dinner platters, absolutely incredible PESTO! they are known for their pesto and ship it nationally, and for good reason! Love this place!

Hi MrsMaggie. Next time you come I encourage you to take another look at our menu. We actually have quite a bit more than 5 vegan options, and the menu is coded for them. In addition, there are other items that can be made vegan on request.

Our chocolate peanut butter pie is so delicious that we don't tell our non vegan customers it's vegan, because then they won't like it :) We also have a variety of vegan cookies. And we also make a vegan pesto we sell in containers.
