Good vegan options ideal location - Edit
Really great vegan options, I got the vegan nachos and they came with vegan chilli, cheese, sour cream and guacamole and salsa. Great spot I’ve you’ve walked blencathra as it’s right below. It is on the expensive side but generally the same price is anywhere in the lakes.

Lovely place to stop after climbing Blencathra. Can vouch for the vegan burger- also do a vegan Sunday roast but haven’t tried it yet…..

We should have booked but got an outside table ok. Bit chilly but not too bad. 3 vegan options burger curry and chilli. We all had one each and had no complaints-very good food. Didn't try the desserts but there was a couple of vegan options

Homemade vegan food - Edit
Very pleasantly surprised by the food I had yesterday at the White horse. Pub packed full of hikers and campers from a day up Blencathra, feeding up on homemade food. There are 4 vegan main options on the menu, I went for the curry. It took a while to arrive but it was well worth the wait, made from fresh produce that day and full of flavour. I could tell someone had put some love into the making of my dinner. Will def return again soon.
