This place just went downhill - Edit
Prices are crazy, so pretentious. Then to pay the bill you have to select no tip every time if you cannot afford it on top of the silly prices.
Read moreCoffee is so bad as well as the latte. It's like they are making an effort to make bad coffee.
Staff now doesn't seem to be in their environment and not very professional imo.

I WOULD CURSE IF THEY LET ME - Edit
Absolutely F$@KG incredible. Absolutely F$@KG delightful. Absolutely F$@KG brilliant. Staff was lovely, atmosphere tip top, and let the sound of the blenders penetrate your tough, trendy, cool interior and take a F$@KG sip. Enjoy. I can’t imagine how you couldn’t.

Lovely dog friendly place but the matcha latte sucks - Edit
Great peaceful place to chill at or work from. I've been looking for a dog friendly cafe with comfortable seating and this spot is perfect. Fully vegan with a lot of delicious options. The only disappointment was the matcha latte as they seem to be using a cheap green tea powder not even matcha and as beautiful as it looks the dried rose petals they put on top really mess with the flavour of an already below average latte.

Absolutely delicious - Edit
Brunch at Wave kinda made me realise how much I enjoy good vegan food on Sunday morning. The place was packed with people when we came in and that's usually a good sign. I went for the NY bun thingy (don't remember the exact name of the dish). It was just divine. I love anything pickled. And this had it all. Delicious gherkins, sauerkraut and the mustard mayo. We also tried the mango & passionfruit cheesecake and it was divine. We will be definitely coming back for more 😘

Great little place - Edit
Lovely cafe & brunch spot with an outdoor terrace to catch the sun. Tucked away off Hackney Central shopping strip. Excellent range of coffees including medicinal lattes with raw cacao and mushroom powders and peanut butter coffee (latter is recommended).

A must try is the Salted Coffee.
Read moreIt’s rare to find a fully vegan deli style place, very cute vibes. Only slightly annoying was lots of people with laptops, who you know aren’t moving any time soon - so couldn’t get a seat inside and kinda kills the vibe of a coffee shop.

Vegan breakfast! - Edit
Such a cute cafe with delicious breakfast dishes. Peanut butter salted coffee was a real treat too. We had the brekkie bowl and the sunny side. Both plates were delicious. Added on avocado and La vie bacon too.

Vegan pastries! - Edit
I love pastries and was spoilt for choice at WAVE - I ended up going for an almond croissant and a peanut butter latte (the latter, mostly for the novelty). The croissant was amazing, I haven't had one like that since I went vegan fifteen years ago! The coffee was very nice although hot to handle being served in a glass cup without a handle. That may be the stylish way to serve coffee now though and I am out of date!

WAVE - Edit
I ordered a tofu sandwich and thought the flavors were very delicious. However, I did not like the bread, and this is probably because it was overcooked and very hard on the outside. As such, I only ate the middle of the sandwich and left the outside bun behind. I was still hungry after this, but they were so busy (Sunday afternoon) that there was no way I was willing to wait if I were to put in a second order, so I went elsewhere . I’ll probably give this place another shot next time I’m in the area.

Amazing! - Edit
Nice space, very busy and for a good reason. The food was simple but super tasty. I liked pretty much everything - apart from cordyceps latte which was too sweet and couldn't finish it! Will definitely come back soon 😊

A bit disappointing unfortunately - Edit
I’d been wanting to come to this cafe for ages and I hate to say it, but I was disappointed.
Read moreI’m easily pleased but the sunny side dish, while packed with some lovely flavours and a beautiful presentation, was lacking the touches to make it enjoyable. The English muffin was cold and untoasted so therefore kind of claggy, and the tofu scramble and hollandaise were also both cold. Potentially a little heavy handed with the black salt too.. and the kale had a metallic taste?
The peanut butter latte was an interesting combo, but the coffee aspect of it wasn’t great. Maybe it’s the spoilt Australian within me, but neither the brunch nor the coffee hit the mark for me 😞 and I wouldn’t rush back anytime soon.
The almond croissant was delish though!
Pros: Nice flavours, Beautiful presentation, Delish pastry
Cons: Cold/unfinished food, Buzzer system to collect your food, Limited cold drink selection

Great Sunday vibes - Edit
It's the type of place I love going to on a cold but sunny Sunday. They have tables outside too but it's nice and cosy inside. You just need to arrive when it's not too busy, otherwise you'll have to wait a bit. It's the type of place where you pick your own table, order at the counter and then go get your order yourself when it’s ready. Even if you're just passing by to buy a pastry, be prepared to queue a little during the weekend.
Read moreTheir pancakes are gluten-free and they were amazing... I would go back just for them, although the menu tends to vary depending on seasonality. Their smoothie bowl was really good too.

Cozy brunch spot - Edit
Loved the comfy vibes and cool decor. They've got a nice outdoor spot too. They are located in a quiet area. I tried their avocado toast, which was okay, and also had the pancakes with berries and almond butter on top, these were delicious. They offer unique lattes, like chai with cordyceps, cacao with lions mane,.. You can even buy these powders to take home in their little shop corner. Just a heads up, their pancakes sell out quick, so go early if you want them. Overall, Wave is a chill spot with great flavors.

Cool vibes - Edit
Quick service and aesthetically pleasing meals. I ordered the scrambled tofu on English muffins with vegan hollandaise. The muffins were great and the tofu scramble was good but hollandaise was lacking - it did not have the zesty lemon flavour that hollandaise needs. Really nice vibey location and good ambience inside.

Nice brunch spot - Edit
The place is nice, relaxed atmosphere, big windows with natural light. And it's not on the street, so it's quiet.
Read moreBut it is small, and they needed to put as many seats as possible, so it's a bit tight.
There is no table service, you will need to order and then collect.
Food is good, portions are right, a bit expensive, but considering the costs of it all, not overpriced.
I love the matcha latte, so creamy!
Multiple milk alternatives available.
There are ready pastries and savory bagels, or you can order something from the kitchen.
Pros: Macha latte, Scramble tofu bagel, Pancakes
Cons: Not much space, Bit on the pricey side
