Still dreaming about the pancakes

A cozy place tucked in a quiet corner off the busier shopping street. Nice atmosphere and interior. I had the absolutely tasty pancakes with maple syrup and caramelised banana. The only minus for me was that compared to the portion sizes the food was a bit pricey - but that really seemed to be the case in a lot of places in London…

Pros: Everything is vegan, The pancakes!!!, Cozy place

Cons: Small portions for the price

Beautiful little oasis just off the narrow way in Hackney central.

Breakfast was called “sunny side” which is a plant based take on eggs Benedict and it did not disappoint. Followed by two delicious desserts and killer coffee.

Excellent and cozy!

Had the Sunnyside brunch plate with added avocado and an iced chai tea latte. Everything was delicious and the staff is super friendly. I wanted to try everything...

Quite good

The food was pretty good, I had the Bagel and although tasty, the carrot was incredibly rich. Ordered a juice, it was £4.50 I expected it would be made fresh on site but it was a pre packaged item.

Pros: Vegan, Good breakfast options, Tasty food

Cons: Expensive

Understated excellence

My boyfriend took me here for a birthday brunch, it was such a treat to have so many incredible vegan options and they were all excellent

I had the eggs Benedict and he had pancakes, along with a delicious almond croissant and coffees.

It’s a really relaxed vibe too, we will definitely be back

Pros: Great choices , Incredible food, Relaxed atmosphere

Cons: None! Loved it

Quiet treasure in Hackney

This little cafe is so well situated in a small alley just 2 minutes walk from Hackney Central station. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the menu is very versatile - it was so hard to choose from the lovely options 🤩 The cafe has a spacious indoor area and an inviting outdoor area as well with canopies, so could sit outside even when it was raining ☔️ Drinks were very special and the food was ready in no time and was super delicious 😋 It’s a great place to catch up with friends, share a great brunch with your loved ones, and many people were there working on their laptops, so if you’re looking for a lovely place for work away from home then it’s the perfect spot 💻. Dogs are welcome as well 🐾

Pros: Special hot drinks ☕️ , Amazing options and everything very delicious 😋 , Many gluten free options 🚫🌾

Cons: Fully self-serve

Great coffee but disappointing food

Lovely little setting with cushions and swings giving the cafe a Bali feel. Very unique and delicious coffees. The salted Himalayan coffee is a must try! It seems as though everything has gotten sweeter though.

I have always loved Wave but unfortunately their food has gone downhill.
Like other reviews say, the vegan salmon bagel was very disappointing. It didn’t taste realistic and was very overpriced for the size. The almond croissant was very hard and didn’t taste fresh. Both sausage rolls were very tasty though!

Pros: Great location and setting with outdoor seating , Lovely coffees

Cons: Pretty disappointing food overall

Exciting vegan food options! Pricey though :(

I got the vegan carrot lox bagel and was quite disappointed as it had no fishy taste at all, nice vegan cream cheese though. The matcha was small and quite expensive. My friend got pancakes which I think was good value for money, if compared to the small bagel lol
Very nice outdoor seating.

Pros: 100% vegan, Interesting menu, Cool outdoor seating

Cons: Vegan “salmon” bagel was disappointing , Expensive

good, but..

The little cafe is really cute, in a quiet courtyard. The interior is nice and the music was really great and fitting for a Sunday morning. However, the croissant and the pain du chocolat were both really dry and cold. I really didn't think that was ok. I had much better vegan croissants at Pret yesterday, and these looked so much bigger and more promising. So that was disappointing.
The other stuff we had was fairly tasty and good, avo toast, mushroom roll and the buddha bowl, but it is all a little bit overpriced.

Pros: lovely music and vibe, all vegan, some tasty stuff

Cons: dry cold croissants :(, expensive

Good for coffee and a light bite

Loved the Artichoke filled croissant, but the mushroom sausage roll could be better.

Cons: A bit on the pricey side.

Fave breakfast/brunch place

Absolutely in love with this little cafe. Great interior design but also outside seating is lovely in summer. They have a great selection of breakfast and brunch options as well as amazing pastries. Would recommend their chocolate or almond croissant!

Birthday breakfast!

I went for breakfast on my birthday and got coffee and a pain au chocolat. The pain au chocolate was HUGE and so so yummy!! And the coffee was good too. The decorations are so lovely and there were so many options. A very hackney feeling cafe, if that makes sense.

My favourite vegan café in London

The atmosphere is so chilled out, it's the perfect place to relax and enjoy the amazing coffee selection or their milkshakes.

Pros: Best turmeric latte I've had so far, Hipster vibe in a quiet street

Cons: Pancakes and milkshakes are quite expensive, At peak times it can be crowded

Yummy raw peanut butter caramel slice

We went for cake here in the afternoon. The cafe is set in a quiet backyard and has a super chill vibe. We tried 3 different cakes (lemon cheesecake, peanut butter caramel, and the salted chocolate brownie). All were good, the peanut butter caramel was excellent. The lemon cheesecake could have been less sweet.

Nice selection of hot and cold beverages too.
