Nice vegan brunch place - Edit
Nice vegan brunch place. I got the avo on toast (£9) and mushroom roll (£4). One of the poshest avo on toast i’ve ever had, topped with sprouts and pesto on english muffin buns.

Great food and vibe - Edit
The brunch options and pastries were great. The atmosphere is also really nice and it’s a good place to do remote work.

Nice but noisy - Edit
The pancakes and sandwich were really good, but the place was so chaotic and noisy. It was Saturday lunch time so I imagine the busiest time, but I had to queue for a long time to order, then the buzzers all messed up and we got our meals separately and people were constantly pushing past. It was so loud. So can’t complain about the food but the ambience wasn’t great.

Delicious but pricey - Edit
I got the protein pancake attack with banana and almond butter, and a beetroot latte. I also tried some of Purp's brekkie bowl with bacon, and oat milk salted latte.
Read moreBoth breakfasts were delicious. I was very full after my pancakes, but Purp said that the brekkie bowl wasn't very filling.
The oat latte was nice.
I'm going to be completely honest. Painfully honest. Disturbingly honest. Despite liking beetroot, I don't like beetroot flavoured things. I enjoy pickled or roasted beetroot, but I don't like beetroot ketchup or beetroot burger buns. I don't know why I ordered the beetroot latte. I didn't like it. It tasted of beetroot and because I am a simpleton I was surprised. If you like beetroot you'll love it. I am not removing a star over this; this café should not suffer because I am the village idiot.
We decided to also try some of the pastries. We ordered a pain au raisin, a pain au chocolate, and a spinach and potato curry pastry. The pain au chocolate was nice. Good quality chocolate, and flaky pastry. The pain au raisin was okay, a bit dry and the raising kept falling out. The curry pastry was delicious but it was cold. I thought it would be heated. It didn't matter, it was still delicious.
Despite thinking it was expensive (for the bowls and plates, the pastries are an okay price) I'd eat here again.

Excellent breakfast but expensive - Edit
Me and GC splurged for our last full day of the trip, this place was expensive but very high quality.
Read moreGC got the protein pancake stack with added banana and nut butter and a beetroot latte to the side, I got a brekkie bowl with added la vie bacon and a salted coffee with oat milk.
For dessert we got a pain au raisin, Pan au chocolat and a curry potato pastry.
The brekkie bowl was delicious, everything tasted really fresh and was well seasoned, the bacon didn't add much unfortunately especially with how much it cost to add.
The salted coffee was really nice and my first time trying something like it. I tried some of GCs pancakes and latte and they were both really good as well.
The pan au raisin was very nice, I wasn't very impressed with the pan au chocolat but it wasn't bad. The star of the pastries was the curry potato pastry, it was amazing. I would almost go there again just for it.
If you want to treat yourself I would recommend this place, the food was memorable and the staff were lovely.
Plus it's a very nice relaxed family run cafe that's fully vegan so you can actually have whatever you want without worrying about cruelty.

Brunch sorted - Edit
A little difficult to find- the app directions currently lead you astray. Decor a bit Spartan but comfortable enough. I had the ragu brisket brioche and a golden glow smoothie. These were excellent. Then a coffee a pain au raisin, also very good.

Pros: Very good, different food, Relaxed vibe, Coffee was hot enough

A great all-weather, everything vegan option - Edit
We were looking for a brunch place on a rainy Saturday and found a great refuge here!
Read moreSpectacular protein pancakes with bacon, banana & nut butter additions highly recommended! We also ordered garlic mushrooms on sourdough with tahini dressing, tofu scramble with fried kale on toast, and a tasty sausage roll. All 5 🌟s. Some of the best oat & soya flat whites we've had in London. And excellent spiced chai, not the usual sugary mixture so often served elsewhere. (Avoid the americano though.)

Best brunch/brekkie in London - Edit
Hands down my favourite breakfast spot in London. We try to go somewhere new each time we visit but this is one of the only spots we have revisited multiple times.

Expensive, gentrifying - Edit
Had a toastie and a hot drink for over £10.
Read moreThe toastie was very average sandwich made with mainly things made out of the restaurant so totally not worth the money.
Since it is one of my nearest vegan spots came back, the food was actually good. Still very gentry not my favourite. but the pastries makes me come back. Giving star up since previous review

Cute vegan spot tucked away - Edit
We went for brunch and really enjoyed the atmosphere and fully vegan menu. The gluten free pancakes were great with perfect texture. Also had the sunny side which was good (if maybe a little too strong Dijon taste). Pastries looked great but too full to try them

Good food although my rating is lower because english brekkie is not my favorite. Lots of seating. Order at the counter and you get a buzzer. Had lots of pastries, sausage rolls, etc. as well.

Wave is a cozy little restaurant with lovely Boho style interior. We loved the variety of the vegan, healthy meals they offer and tried many of them (at least twice). It is a bit pricey, but we always felt like the meals, pastries, and drinks were freshly prepared and of great taste! Absolutely recommendable!

We ordered the breakfast bowl and the sunny side up. The sauce on the sunny side up was really tasty and there was loads of variety on the breakfast bowl. The pastries were AMAZING but there weren’t many left come the afternoon when we got there.

Really good food but get there early - Edit
We had a breakfast brioche, mushroom roll and the shakshuka. The brioche had a really audible crunch and a creamy filling, the mushroom roll was crispy and full of filling. The Shakshuka was really tasty and flavourful, the “egg” added a nice creamy hit. That being said I would have ordered the brekkie bowl instead as you got some of the Shakshuka and some other bits to add a little variety.
Read moreWe also had the cinnamon roll and the hazelnut roll these were flaky and sweet and delicious.
You need to get here early though to get the full range of goodies as a lot of the pastries had sold out by the time we arrived.

We got their TooGoodToGo bag which was £3.99 for £12 worth of goodies. If you haven’t got TooGoodToGo I’d recommend it, it’s an app which allows you to pay a discounted price for leftover food to avoid it going to waste!
Read moreThe cafe was cute with a relaxed vibe and they seemed to have a great selection of food, although as we were going to pick up our TooGoodToGo there was naturally nothing left when we arrived!
Our bag contained 3 Croissants and a Pain Au Raisin. We warmed them for breakfast the next day and they were excellent! The croissants had a lovely flaky pastry and impressive buttery flavour, so good! The Pain Au Raisin was also delicious with a sweet flavour and great squidgy texture. I’m excited to go back and try their other goodies!
Pros: Delicious pastries, Available on TooGoodToGo, Relaxed vibe
