Read moreThis was probably the first time in Madrid we had an enthousiastic and friendly waitress. She was very attentive, bringing us several tapas (hummus sandwich and olives) while we were waiting.
We really enjoyed the tortilla. The gyozas were okay. As a main we tried the typical Madrid chapata, a ciabatta sandwich with squid and the salad. It was nice to get to try the sandwich, some nice flavors but a bit boring after a while. Great combination with the salad to get some freshness. Tastiest salad I had in Madrid, nice to get a large plate of fresh and tasty veggies for a change.
Sitting area is not that comfortable but that's compensated by the friendly atmosphere.
The Linda juice with pear and cayenne is tasty, even though the pepper taste is very mild.

I wanted to try a Spanish omelette so I was glad to see this on the menu. This was really nice. It was served with a sauce. Made with potatoes I think. They had a non alcoholic cider which I really enjoyed. For my main I had soyasun patty thins with cheese and tomato and served with potatoes. It was simple but quite nice. This is a very nice and relaxed tavern, ideal for a quick meal. I had the chapata de tortilla de patatas and it was delicious, I was really impressed by the tortilla. I also had the cheesecake and it was just okay but the savory dishes are the stars in this establishment anyway.

He ido varias veces a tomar el menú del día y siempre salgo contento. Por un precio muy bueno tienes dos platos, bebida y una rica porción de tarta. Por ponerle un pero, los entrantes casi siempre son los mismos y los principales también son muy recurrentes, pero están tan ricos que no importa repetir.
