Quite expensive, disappointing

My boyfriend and I had a lot of expectations and we were super happy to go to VG patisserie. However, the cakes were really small and expensive (plus add 0,5 € per cake if you eat there). The tastes were good but did not justify the price. The staff was overwhelmed and unexperienced. We waited a lot.

Pros: Nice to eat vegan french patisserie

Cons: Expensive, Staff overwhelmed

Yummy sweets & best espresso!

Very nice French pâtisserie with croissants, pain au chocolat and lots of other sweet goodies. There is a breakfast deal that includes a croissant & an espresso - perfect place to start your Paris day! The double espresso

The best Paris Brest

Small bakery so get ready to wait a little. Totally worth it tho. Especially the chai latte and French pastries.

Amazing

I got a very delicious savoury croissant (with tofu and mushrooms) and a pain au chocolat for 6€. Both were exceptionally tasty. Also very friendly staff that explained the menu for me as it‘s only in French. :)

Michelin level pastry

I was here in June 2018 and wanted to try the Paris Patisserie tradition and found this place through happycow, which I'm very glad for.

I went a bit all in since I only had few days in town.
First of all, coffee, pastry and pain du chocolate of this quality for 10,40€ is really a bargain.
Secondly, the pastry I was recommended was so so great. I don't like white chocolate normally but here it worked out really well as the bottom of the cake. The softer nut-filled cake layers were awesome and the middle butter/vanilla cream filling with whole fresh strawberries was perfect. The top layer was raspberry jelly/jam. Together it was magical!
The pain chocolate was soft but just the right crunch and had a rich chocolate interior.

Not that I'm a gourmet person but I really believe they could earn a Michelin star, it's very high level on the pastry.

This is my favorite in Paris and among the best food experiences I have ever had.

Pros: Among the best pastry & pain chocolate I tasted, Friendly staff and beautiful interior, Really good value for money

Cons: A bit small place

Vegan Croissants and pain au Chocolat !

We love that this place has the best vegan croissants in Paris. But you have to get their early otherwise there will be none left! We've been there a few times in the afternoon and they can be sold out! They also have yummy desserts, tea and coffee. We tried a few of their cakes like Matcha cake, opera and one other (but can't remember the name). But honestly, we are simple and we prefer their croissants and pain au chocolat. Enjoy! We highly recommend!

Pros: Excellent Croissants, Great location, Outdoor seating area

Cons: Long cues sometimes due to popularity, They sell out quick

Cons: expensive , No croissants at 10 am, Arrogant staff

Chocolate eclairs which have a chocolate cream filling! Mind blown!

Such scrumptious cakes and pizza, and I was so surprised they did chocolate eclairs which also have a chocolate cream filling. Does a variety of drinks, hot or cold and plenty of seating. They also do cute reusable canvas bags for €12.

Fantastic

French patisserie that's all vegan - what a find! Definitely worth a visit. Limited seating as it is more shop than cafe. Constant stream of customers and not surprising. Their is a range of croissant, pain chocolate style food and french cakes - the like of which I haven't had in years. What a delight to reconnect with them!

First visit had pain chocolate and coffee - really light and fresh. The croissants had run out. Ordered some for the following day and a quiche and salad to take on our train journey.

All prepared and waiting for us to pick up.

Man serving spoke English well and was super friendly. Thank goodness for my waistline this place isn't round the corner from where I live.

Pros: French patisserie style food, Excellant quality and range, Amenable and friendly staff

Incredibly good

The little cakes they serve are as aesthetic as they are tasty. The lightness of vegan cream in comparison to normal cream makes them even better. Unfortunately, as we are in Paris, they are really expensive - but probably can't be found anywhere else.

Pros: Beautiful und delicious

Cons: Very expensive

Lovely place with a nice atmosphere and tasty pastries

We visited this place on a holiday to Paris in February 2018. We went there 2 times, and had it been closer to our hotel we would have eaten there more.

The patisserie itself is cute and bright, it feels good to be inside. The decoration is mostly white, it is minimalist but also elegant.

There are lots of options to choose from, both pastry- and cakes-type goods are available. The croissant has the perfect texture and tastes like heaven, and even has that creamy-buttery taste "regular" croissants have. The pan du choc also tastes very good. After having tried these I seriously do not know why these normally contain animal ingredients...

For drinks, you can have coffee and hot chocolate, both served in small (1.5 dl?) cups, and this is the only thing I can complain about. Maybe this is a cultural difference, but we would have preferred bigger (and cold) drink options to be available, as we like to have our pastries for breakfast accompanied by cold drinks (rice milk or cocoa), and for us such a small drink is not enough for a breakfast of pastries.

Pros: good variety, tasty pastries, nice atmosphere

Cons: not too many options for drinks
