It was fine but nothing special - Edit
It was fine not bad at all just nothing special that I thought was amazing. Food seemed all over the place, no real theme. There were nachos to ravioli to paella. Again nothing bad just fine.

Vegan paella! - Edit
We got some take-out dinner here and were very happy to find some vegan paella, lasagna and very kind staff! They use only paper containers for the food, which is great but also led to a big mess when we wanted to unpack it at home.

Vegan paella - Edit
We came here to try the vegan heura paella and it was super tasty! Knocked off a star only because they got our food order wrong at first but they did rectify it very quickly and brought us some complementary olives.

Perfecto!! - Edit
Pedí el ramen porque nunca había comido. Estaba muy rico y me sentó genial, mis compañeros se pidieron el pad thai y tenía muy buena pinta. Bebidas caseras 🥰

Good food, no fuss! - Edit
This place is quite casual – though it's a sit-down restuarant that does evening meals it has more of a cafe vibe.
Read moreWe had vegetarian nachos and veggie paella which were both very good. Service was good and food came quickly. A good oppurtunity to have paella, which we'd been keen to find a veggie version of.
Pros: fast service, friendly staff, good selection
Cons: felt a bit generic in atmosphere

Paella approvata! - Edit
Locale carino e ben arredato, anche se un po' piccolino. Abbiamo provato le patatas bravas (buonissime e consigliate) e la paella con fake chicken. Molto buona.

Review - Vegetalia - Edit
I needed to try the veggie version of paella 🥘 and I think I’ve succeeded! Delicious, warm and I even left some cause my tummy was full.

Good menu - Edit
I looked up where to get a vegan paella and chose this restaurant in the Gothic Quarter. I had the vegetable paella and a glass of rosada wine and took away a piece of pizza with vegan cheese. The paella was made with brown rice rather than the usual white rice. The taste of the dish was good. The individual cast-iron pan was served good and hot. The paella was topped with (lentil?) sprouts, which I doubt is a traditional thing; I wasn’t a fan of them and put them aside.

We stopped here for a quick brunch on the way to the Gothic Quarter. There are tons of vegan options. We got the Thai Curry (SO GOOD), the caesar salad, nachos, and empanadas. Everything was really good!

Okay Food, Great Location - Edit
This restaurant is in a great location in the Gothic Quarter with a wonderful outdoor seating area. I went with my sister and had a decent meal and drink. The food was good but did not stand out during my time in Barcelona. We shared some tapas. Prices were fair for the area, so you do not have to worry about spending an exorbitant amount.

So happy that a place like this exists. Vegan versions of classic Spanish cuisine. We got the Patatas bravas and paella with heura (vegan chikn) to share. Good portions. Left very satisfied :))

Vegan Empanadas, Yes! - Edit
We were in Barcelona for five days. At each discovery of an empanada shop - local and chain - we inquired about the availability of vegan empanadas. No luck anywhere, until we happened upon this Vegetalia shop. We bought and enjoyed the tofu-seitan blend they were savory and creamy. Glad for this happenstance discovery.

One of the best places to try out typical Spanish dishes in a vegan version. Both the paella and the sangria were really good, the vibes were chill, would highly recommend!!

Was ok - Edit
I had the empanada and the veggie paella. Both were just okay. The empanada came out still a bit cold and the paella didn’t have a ton of flavour I was expecting.

Tasty but rude employee - Edit
Ate here a week ago and enjoyed it. Came back and first the hours are listed wrong as opening at noon. They told me 1. Fine. I went outside and sat in their patio area to wait 30 minutes. The area was empty and a public square, not their own private area. Employee came out to tell me I couldn’t even wait!!! What? No idea why you’re not allowed to wait to give them business.

Great place - Edit
Nice decoration, pop American music, great service, not everything is vegan but there are many vegan options. The vegan paella with heura was delicious and we liked that they had a menu of the day. Just be careful since some vegan options cost extra (like the vegan nachos).

Delicious vegan paella - Edit
I was looking for a Spanish vegan paella and found it there. It was delicious and the price was okay. For dessert I had vegan red velvet cake. Absolutely dreamy... I really would go there again and the service was very nice.

Nice paella - Edit
Most of the menu was vegan, they have menú of the day and a regular menu which include two paellas, one with only vegetables and one with vegan chicken. A bit pricey imo for the portion but it was a good paella nonetheless. The orange iced tea was good too. They open at 1pm and not at 11am as stated on the happy cow app. They have outside tables on a nice square but it costs 10% more to eat outside and the inside is a bit narrow. But It's great to have a vegan restaurant that's not just a fast food and serves local dishes!!
Pros: A lot of vegan stuff on the menu
Cons: +10% fee to eat outside
