Nice place on 2nd floor of mall - Edit
Just thought I’d put the location in the title, because it can be a bit annoying to find these places.
Read moreWas astoundingly quiet for being inside a mall. Has (what I as a tourist believe to be) authentic food. I had the five spice bean curd and pumpkin barley drink - both were good, the bean curd was just a bit bland. Meals come with a side of brown rice. Has a well sized menu, some faux meat, some traditional dishes.

Amazing depth of flavour - Edit
We ordered brown rice the lotus/tofu/star anise dish and the monkey head mushroom, tofu and vegetable dishes. So much flavour, we could smell the deliciousness all the way down the corridor before we found where it was coming from. Staff are so friendly and genuine, can’t wait to come back, this will be a favourite in Singapore.

Delicious - Edit
Nicest meal I’ve had whilst on holiday in Singapore. Fresh and homely food. I really liked that there was lots of vegetable options rather than fake meat stuff. I had the noodle with gravy and dumplings along with homemade plum drink for $8.50. Would thoroughly recommend it. It’s on the second floor of the fortune centre building. Think it is cash only.

Delicious & Cheap = Perfect! - Edit
This is a very local small restaurant in Fortune Center. I had a curry noodle and it was delicious and the size was quite filling. Price was only around $5-6! I will definitely come back to try other options soon.

Super tasty! - Edit
This has been my favorite place so far in Singapore! I got the bitter melon, and my friend got an eggplant dish. Super flavorful, affordable, and we both felt great after. We liked that the flavors were different from what we can usually find in the States. The woman we spoke with was really nice and was happy to answer our questions. Highly recommend!

Healthy Vegan - Edit
Updated after 9 months, Vege Pot is great! Still excellent food. I am very happy I found Vege Pot using Happy Cow. I like Vege Pot on the 2nd floor of this building more than the fast food like vegan on the first floor because I started this journey due to health. I had the “monkey brain” mushroom pot, it included Lions Mane Mushroom my fav, and a pumpkin barley tea. Both Five Star tasty and it came with a side salad and clear soup. Had the homemade Lemongrass tea and Roselle enzyme tea and the Unagi(bean/nori), all delicious and healthy.

Good food for reasonable price - Edit
I’ve been struggling to find the restaurants at the fortune centre and there are almost only vegetarian restaurants. We decided to try Vege Pot because of the affordable prices. It’s what I think authentic Chinese food. you should be open towards different taste experiences than what you know from Chinese restaurants in western countries. It’s not really nice for sitting, so nothing for a special night out but okay for having a quick lunch.

amazing affordable comfort food - Edit
Selling mainly Asian style dishes, their food is very unique and flavourful, and very healthy. The aunties are always friendly everytime I visit, and the food quality is considerably consistent, in terms of taste, texture and even temperature, making each visit pleasant.

Cheap and good food :) - Edit
Came here with a few friends for lunch. They recommended me to try the monkey head dish (mushrooms). Food came pretty quickly, was served with brown rice, small side salad and a soup. The mushrooms were phenomenal, but a little bit oily. My friends tried the thunder rice (very good) and an type of noodles (can't remember which ones but they were good too). I paid only 6$ for the dish.

A simple vegetarian eatery with good variety - Edit
At Bugis, Vegetarians are simply spoilt for choice! This is simply a vegetarian heaven, just in Fortune Centre this building housed more than 10 vegetarian eateries. Nowadays, many people, vegetarian or meat eater too, go for Vegetarian Food.
Read moreVege Pot located at Fortune Centre (level 2), has a good variety of choices Hard for me to decide what to order. Anyway, I went for Vegetarian Penang Prawn Mee @ $5.5, as not many places can do vegetarian Prawn Mee well and I want to try this in this eatery.
There is one place where I love the Vegetarian Prawn Noodle soup base, but it is located at the hawker centres in Hougang The price is very reasonable but doesn’t have what I would love to have – Kang Kong Veg or Pawn Mee Special Sambal chilli would that added oomph factor to the soup.
Here, presentation look good, serving is big and quite delicious. Just that, it isn’t spicy as I thought it should be. Will be back to try other food they serves.
