Delicious traditional food that is well worth the climb to the top floor! We had the steak/dumplings and it was really good. The sauce - in case anyone is on the fence wondering like me - tasted a bit like a butternut soup (in the best way possible), which paired with the steak, dumplings and cranberry sauce is beautiful.

The waitress was great, view fabulous from the terrace and the food was absolutely delicious. If you want to eat on the rooftop terrace, probably best to book but we could sit there before their reservation guests for an hour which was ample as the service was quick. Highly recommended

Loved the idea of having traditional czech food vegan style and it didn't let down.
Had a tasty svíčková omáčka s nehovězím plátkem a houskovým knedlíkem (sirloin sauce with beef slice and bread dumplings) 328 czk, with a refreshing 0,4 L Ferdinand 12° pivo for 68 czk.
Nice staff, nice place.

Read moreIch war dort 6 Minuten vor der Eröffnung und wurde nett darauf hin gewiesen noch kurz zu warten, was natürlich völlig verständlich war. Danach bekam ich oben einen Tisch und habe gleich gefragt ob das Svíčková auch ein einer kleinen Portion möglich ist, da ich so gerne beides Essen möchte. Sie hat mir eine Kinderportion vorgeschlagen. Tatsächlich war das aber nur genau eine Knödelscheibe weniger, ansonsten alles gleich, sprich ich war danach VOLL. Wie dem auch sei, die Knödel waren nichts besonderes aber die Sauce soo gemüsig-cremig und DAS FLEISCH SO ZART!!! Einfach gut. Und jetzt lasst mich nicht anfangen über die Lasagne zu reden. Von der Bechamel bis zum Spinat über das Fleisch rauf zum Käse. Eine absolut perfektionierte Speise mit 0 Verbesserungsbedarf, so etwas habt ihr noch nie gegessen. Der Service war so lieb und es wird sich stets um einen gekümmert. Nur liegt das Restaurant im 2. oder 3. Stock mit sehr steilen und kurvigen Treppen, also barrierefrei ist es nicht wirklich

They forgot my coffee order and they’ve put it on the house which was really nice of them. Tucked at the top of some winding stairs is this little gem serving traditional Czech dishes such as goulash and Svíčková but all veganised. They also have burgers, salads and more. I got the svíčková which was generously portioned, very tasty and very filling! Super cute upstairs area with the option to sit on the rooftop terrace overlooking the city too. Great lunch or dinner after visiting Prague Castle.

Today we visited this amazing restaurant. I had the goulash, which was very tasty. My husband and daughter had the sandwich with smoked tofu but she said she would have prefered a little bit more tofu in it. Her boyfriend had the svickova sauce which he liked very much. We all ordered the side salad but this was was quite big (but also very tasty), so we were to full to have a dessert. Next time we would not order the side salad.
