Slick place - Edit
This chain of vegan fast food has done really well in terms of marketing. My lunch partners and I ordered three different meal combinations. The set included a burger, small seaweed fries, and a drink. To begin with, the drinks were nothing more than cordial mixed with water for a place with such great ambience and a slick marketing strategy. The burgers didn't taste bad and the patty itself looked the part and tasted like a mock-meat burger should. But for a starting price of $5.90 (the other two burgers ordered were $6.90 and $7.90 respectively) this was simply not enough. Two out of three of us walked out of the place and felt hungry thirty minutes later. This is an indication of the total size of our portions. Maybe it's a question of quality control, or maybe my standards are just too high. The place almost full by the time we left shortly after 12.30pm on a weekday.

Delicious vegan burgers and the trimmings! - Edit
The restaurant is a little hard to find - but worth the effort if you want some delicious vegan "junk" food. It's in a complex of tower buildings near Marina Bay. Once you find the right one, go up the escalators and do a u turn.
Read moreWe tried to eat a bit of everything they had as we were only able to make one visit there during our short Singapore stopover. The burgers were scrumptious, the chips were hot and crunchy, just how I like them. We also had sides of steamed broccoli florets, potato pops (fried potato balls) and grilled slices of vegan spicy sausage. There was a choice of refreshing juice drinks included with the burger chips combo.
Fortunately the servings are not too huge, so you are not left feeling overstuffed or sick like in some places plus you have room for dessert! The chocolate covered vanilla ice creams were incredible. We got them to take away and ate them walking on the water front seeing the sights. A lovely end to a day of sightseeing.

Yummy burgers - Edit
We saw this HappyCow, and this was the outlet closest to where we were meeting our friends. Stopped in for lunch and order a few of the burgers plus fries to share. Everything tasted good. The space is well designed, too. Next time we'll try their other outlets.
