I was excited to start my trip to Singapore with a 4 hour Singapore Shiok tour. We were told to come hungry, so I did, but boy was there a lot of food 😁
Read moreThis tour offers foodie and street art exploration of 3 ethnic districts in Singapore - Chinatown, Little India and Kampung Glam. There were 7 of us, an international mix of visitors and residents. We tried over 16 different dishes, saw great street art, got really useful information about how/where to find vegan food, the history and some of the culture. The tour was very well organised, Eiktha is a fountain of knowledge and incredibly nice. If I get a chance to, I would definitely join one of the other tours on offer too.

Great start to our trip! - Edit
Amazing introduction to Singapore! We had a day and a half to spend in Singapore so booked the History of Food tour to try as much great veggie and vegan food as possible and it worked well.

The tour took about 4 hours and although we covered very little ground in terms of kilometres, we went to about seven different food vendors trying everything from local cakes and sweets to southern Indian curry to thunder tea rice. It was really great to have some special New Year dishes and traditions thrown in too since it was a few days prior to the main celebrations.
The group was really friendly and a great mix of vegans, vegetarians and omnivores from around the world.
Can’t imagine many better ways for anyone into food to start a trip to Singapore, veggie or not, we can’t recommend highly enough!
Really do turn up hungry, we were absolutely stuffed by the end!
