Food was absolutely amazing, we tried two appetizers, two mains and a dessert and loved everything. The staff was very friendly too. Make sure to book a table for the evening hours since the restaurant gets very busy!

the food there was super good! they have some tofish dish with vegan caviar that was amazing, and the beetroot 'ravioli' were delicious too! the portions were a bit small and more on the high-end side of restaurants, which isnt my favourite but the prices seemed quite average, and the service was friendly, so all in all would recommend trying it

I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance while out with five non-vegan friends and decided to go in on my own. I was fortunate to get a table outside without a reservation, as the place is quite popular and it's recommended to book in advance. During my visit, I invited a mother and daughter from Finland to join me after they were turned away without a reservation. The staff was incredibly friendly, and both the food and beer were amazing.

I think this was a little fancy for me, or at least the fried tofu on mashed potatoes with caviar and veg and some kind of drizzled oil wasn’t a 5 star meal for me, but it was good, and the Snickers cake I had for dessert was also good, and the place had a lovely aesthetic.

I went to Tallinn for work and had looked up vegan restaurants beforehand and found Vegan Restoran V. I was only able to go on my last day for lunch but I'm glad I did because it was a fantastic experience. The food was absolutely delicious and very creatively presented. It really felt like a fine dining experience. The staff was also extremely friendly and it's located in a very nice old building close to the viewing platform over the city. Definitely worth a visit!

Food used to be excellent and very creative here, but slowly but surely it changed for the worst. It seems like the pandemic really did a number on this restaurant. During the restrictions, they experimented with the menu and tried to transform it more to "deliverable" options. That however seems to have escalated the shift towards excessive deep frying which killed the creativity and replaced it with comfort food, and consequently changed my satisfaction with Vegan Restoran V.
Read moreThe last times I ate here, I felt really bad after as everything was super unhealthy. The ravioli has been in the menu since I first discovered the restaurant and used to be great, but the last time I ordered it, the cashew filling was just so insanely oily that I was not able to eat it. In fact it made me a little grossed out. The Caesar salad is the only dish left that doesn’t make me sick.
They used to change the menu occasionally and have weekly specials which I used to love as we used to come here every now and then. The current awful menu however has been stagnant for a while and there is a lack of lighter and healthy options in the menu.

You must try the beetroot ravioli starter, it is divine. In fact everything we ordered was amazing, once again. We ordered cake to go, since we were too full after our meal, but didnt want to miss out on dessert. They were also heavenly. Besides the food and drinks, V has a nice laid back atmosphere and super friendly staff. You do need to make a reservation, because everyone else also loves this restaurant!

Amazing experience.One of the best western style vegan food I had. Everything was packed with flavor and looked beautiful and sophisticated. Pretty seasonal too which I really appreciate. It is fine dining at a very affordable price (they could be charging a lot more). The staff is lovely and helpful, the place is cute and cosy. The dark bread was delicious, the vine too. I totally recommend the beetroot ravioli : amazing flavors and texture. The pavlova was also really good. Will be back again for sure !

Read moreWe had the breaded tofu and the burger. We really liked both dishes. We also had a dark chocolate cake for dessert which was also great.
The atmosphere is very nice and rustic (old stone walls).
We really liked it here and will definitely come back to try the other dishes when we are in Tallinn again!
