Amazing place. I went alone during a week night and had an amazing experience. The next evening I ordered as delivery - so good! I'm sure I'll be back many times in my three week stay.

normal gmo soy! - Edit
They are not using bio soy so its normal gmo soy.
and when i was there was no raw cake.If they have it? they probably use normal cashew in it which is very poisoness when its not bio.
the beetroot hamburger is good and tasty but the bread is of cheap quality with White wheat and with sugar.
Pros: beetroot hamb tasty.
Cons: quality pretty cheap :(

Perfect - Edit
Visited twice once in summer and once in winter, both times were amazing. Definitely recommend the beet seitan, it was one of the best vegan dishes I have tasted. Deserts are also very good. If you ever come across to tiramisu cake, just order it, it was one of the best cakes Staff is also lovely and friendly.
Pros: Taste, Location, Staff
Cons: Hard to find a place on weekends even with booking

When food almost brings you to tears - Edit
I went to this restaurant with my mom this summer, and it was my first all-vegan restaurant experience. We both had starters, mains and shared a dessert. When we got the starters (raw beetroot ravioli for her and ceasar salad to me) I almost started to cry because the food was so good. Especially the ravioli! My man (the burger) was not as great but still very nice and my mom really enjoyed her curry. We shared the rhubarb meringue dessert and it was super amazing. Altogether with a water and non-alcoholic beer the experience only cost us 34,- which was crazy! The atmosphere was cozy as well. If you want to visit this restaurant, make a reservation! They are usually full.
Pros: All-vegan, Price-quality

I would recommend you to make a reservation, this place gets crowded quickly and I understand why. The food is very good, and the atmosphere is great. "Cheese" plate is really nice. Everything is vegan on the menu.

Delicious - Edit
Beautiful and cosy restaurant. The service is friendly and attentive. The food is just delicious, freshly made and arrives quickly. I've had the chef's special which was cannelloni with spinach, vegetable noodle salad and chocolate & pistachio cake, everything was amazing. High standard while keeping the prices fair.
Pros: delicious food, friendly and prompt service, affordable

Fabulous vegan restaurant ! - Edit
I only found this place recently despite being a regular (10 times a year) visitor to Tallinn. I tried one time and it was too busy but then went back.
The food is outstanding, the service is wonderfully charming. The restaurant cosy and welcoming.
Five stars !
Pros: Outstanding food
Cons: Not that many tables and busy

Vegan food of the highest quality - Edit
Not only is this restaurant charming, the quality of the food is outstanding. The restaurant has only a small number of tables, so I highly recommend getting there as they open. We were lucky enough to get a table and had a gourmet meal full of color and flavor. The service was friendly and a good pace. If I am ever back in Tallinn I will most definitely be back.
Pros: Gourmet food, Adventurous recipes, Charming venue in Old Tallinn
Cons: Demand for table is high, you must arrive early

Exquisite food - outstanding! - Edit
This is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been! The dishes are truly innovative and put together with great care and inspiration! It’s such a pleasure to taste their meals.
I especially loved one of the starters, raw beetroot ravioli with cashew-creamcheese…. There’s something for everyone on the menu, burgers, pasta-dishes, salads, curries, vegetable dishes…
As others have pointed out, you better make a reservation to avoid disappointment. They are very good, and very popular.
Prices are fine considering what you get! When I was there, staff was very friendly!
This restaurant alone would justify visiting Tallinn!
Pros: the food is excellent, prices are cheap, nice location
Cons: crowded, need to make a reservation

Good food and good price - Edit
Really tasty food, very nice plates and creative meals. The place is really beautiful and cosy. I highly recommend to make a reservation beforehand (I did it through email) The service was ok, they brought the wrong starter and because the kitchen was closed they told us they wouldn't charge for the wrong meal. However, I had to check the bill and remind them of that. We had beetroot ravioli for starter, the burger and Thai curry rice. I recommend them all!
Pros: Really tasty food , Good price, Very nice and cosy
Cons: Kitchen closes at 10pm sharp

Excellent! - Edit
Really made me happy to eat here. Everything was excellent, the place, the burger with fried vegetables, the personell, atmosphere.
Especially in retrospect after eating in the only vegan restaurant in Vilnius; Gyas , which has really good reviews here, but compared to this it doesn't deserve that based on my experience....

Best restaurant I've been to - Edit
The sun came out so I sat outside to people watch. The waitress was very friendly. I had the spicy peanut tofu with quinoa and a tomato and coconut sauce. It was one of the best things I've ever eaten - wish I was in town longer!!!
Pros: amazing food, beautiful presentation
Cons: tiny space - maybe gets busy

Very good! - Edit
A small and cosy restaurant with a great location in the Old Town. The menu was all vegan and there were multiple dishes to choose from (which was actually hard because everything sounded so delicious). Not too expensive either - Paid 14,30€ for a soda, main course and dessert. Also offers vegan wine & beer Would 100 % recommend!
Pros: Friendly staff, Good location, Great food
Cons: Small & popular = might not have tables available

Very good food. You can't go wrong in here. The portion was a little small for me though, an average male eater. I had the daily dish - lemon pistachio risotto.

Rude staff - Edit
Was looking forward to try this place out as we have been on the road for a while and lived of chips and cereal. When we came there the waitress (who didn't even greet us) told us that the place was full and didn't offer us to be on a waiting list. When we Said that we could wait she said that it would be a long time and then expected us to leave. I have never been to a place where they don't even seem to want customers. Go to Café inspiration around the block instead!
Pros: None
Cons: Rude staff, No waiting list

Hella rude - Edit
The staff literally told us to go after we walked in the door. I understand that the tables were full but they didn't offer for us to wait (join a waiting list) or anything. She simply just told us to go. It was really rude. There is another vegan restaurant about 2 minutes walk which was much nicer with very similar menu.
Pros: Great menu
Cons: Rude staff, If you don't wait for right when they open, you wo, No waiting list

Absolutely stunning! - Edit
I was in Tallinn for work and was desperate for a hot meal, having lived off hotel room snacks for several days. Vegan Restoran V is one the prettiest restaurants I have ever been to - beautifully decorated with a charming and cosy atmosphere. I had a burger with a side of roasted veg which was delicious, and a chocolate/cream/toffee/sponge dessert that I still daydream about now! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone, regardless of their diet.
Pros: The food, The dessert, The staff!

The best! - Edit
This is probably the best vegan food I've ever had. I was gutted to only get one meal in here.
The shared starter 'snack platter' was an absolute winner, I highly recommend it.
Food was fantastic, on the pricier side, but who cares when it tastes like this! Made me want to live in Tallinn!
Pros: Food Quality, Service, Atmosphere
Cons: Price, Books up quickly!

Unexpectedly Great Quality - Edit
Tallinn is so lucky to have a place like this! Very well-made and creative dishes. Started with the Snack Platter (fava bean & mushroom pâté, fried tofu, cucumber cups with cashew cream, grilled zucchini with cashew cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, olives), latté with vegan milk, Green Pea and mint soup, Spicy tofu, vegetables and quinoa with peanut sauce and also the White bean potato balls & couscous cabbage rolls with carrot and celery root puree and mustard sauce. Very good prices. So nice to eat quinoa after going so long without it while travelling and being able to enjoy a latté!
It's quite a small restaurant and seems busy so it might be a good idea to make a reservation. We were lucky to get a table when we arrived.
Pros: Choices, Presentation, Healthy/Quality ingredients

Bad service - Edit
2 waiters who were there first had such a bad attitude that turned me off.
Food was good but could definitely improve (spicy tofu tomato coconut cream was too salty, and the chocolate peanut cake was way too sweet).
A waiter who came in later was very friendly and made things much better.
Pros: Reasonable food for its quality , Cozy place
Cons: Bad service , Food being too salty or too sweet

Very good indeed - Edit
I got round to eating here twice. On both occasions I found the dishes to be of a high quality, and got very good value for my money. If anything the main courses are perhaps not that large, but they will do as long as you don´t eat like a horse (as I tend to do).
The only slight con that I can think of is that this appears to be a part of Von Krahl, the same company that owns Aed and a few other restaurants in the area, hence not a truly independent business, I suppose. Oh, it was also a pity that they no longer have the cashew creme dessert topped with buckthorn jelly.

Best restaurant ever ! - Edit
We loved that restaurant so much we went to eat there 3 times during our 2 days trip to Tallinn !
EVERYTHING is amazing and delicious! From starter to deserts, including main courses and drinks! LOVED IT !
The staff is pretty lunatic though. There were a few adorable and helpful girls, always smiling and welcoming you, but also 2 others that had been quite rude to clients (not to us but we heard them), refusing them a table (victim of their success) when they could have suggested to simply wait a bit or eat outside.
Pros: The food awwww.
Cons: Some waitress were a bit rude.

Phenomenal - Edit
This place is absolutely phenomenal. Everything on the menu looked fantastic, so we had trouble deciding what to get. Luckily, the dishes are quite affordable (about 7 euros for an entree), so we got a little of everything! We ordered the beetroot ravioli with cashew cheese, creamy cauliflower soup with Jerusalem artichoke, black bean pasta, veggie burger, lemongrass cashew creme with black currant sauce and fresh berries, and avocado coconut pudding. We also had two beers. Everything was utterly delicious, and if I recall correctly, the total check was about 50 euros total.
If you're anywhere near Tallinn, you have to check this place out. I'm tempted to make the long cross-Atlantic trip just to come back to this restaurant.
Pros: Delicious delicious food, Creative and enticing offerings, Affordable
Cons: limited seating, reservation needed

Totally unbelievable - Edit
My brother and I walked in and got a table here despite it usually booking out fast. It quickly dawned on us that we had made an epic discovery... we laughed the whole way through reading the menu, noticing the surroundings, eating each course and paying the bill - we just couldn't believe how lucky we were to be there. We left saying "see you tomorrow" and that wasn't a joke. Later brought a group of friends here and spoiled them rotten. I took a photo of the menu to read when I need cheering up. Magical place.

Splendid place - Edit
Delicious and sophisticated food, nicely served and pleasant service. Tastefully decorated and democratic surrounding in the heart of old city. I tried number of dishes there and all (literally all tat I tried) were delicious. My favs among them:
1) Curry (absolutely No. 1. I felt totally satisfied after eating it, i even didn't want dessert).
2) Casserole (I am not a big fan of seitan and I thin it's not easy to prepare it well, but in this dish with seitan was prepared just flawlessly).
3) (V) Burger (funny, but I am also not a fan of burgers, but this one was so delicious. And also this dish was the No. 1 for most of my friends that I have visited with).
Worthy to try! (of course, if they will still serve those particular dishes at that time when you come).
Pros: Splendid food and nicely presented, pleasant service and crew, location (in the heart of old city).

Beware the desserts! - Edit
This is a very cozy and laid back place, full of young people with great service and quite sophisticated dishes.
I enjoyed every course. The only draw back was that some of the main courses were repeated at the starter platter. I wish the waitress would have give a warning when I placed my order. But she was very attentive, friendly and spoke perfect English.
I particularly liked the size of the courses. They are not leaving you hungry but also give you the chance to eat more than one course. When I arrived I was starving and after the first two courses I did not feel quite full. But beware the desserts! They are massive, rich and so delicious you just can not stop eating.
This is a popular place, so I recommend booking a table for a weekend dinner.
Pros: creative, tasty food, good value, cozy atmosphere
Cons: booking recommendet

nice service, great burger, delicious cupcake - Edit
Me and a friend came here and both chose the beetroot-chickpea-burger - and agreed that it was really good and worth its 6€ ;)
The taste was nice and "round" (though for me personally it could have been a bit more spicy), and actually I had the impression that it's a rather healthy burger; the patty was clearly home-made (I mean that in a good way, obviously ^^) and did not seem to be deep-fried, but just fried or grilled. The "fried vegetables" which came as a side-dish could have maybe been a bit more versatile (there were carrots and sweet potatoes, maybe some paprika would have matched, but that is really not worth complaining about ;) ) - also the roll/bread had a good taste and I liked that it was briefly toasted.
Afterwards I wanted to try one of the cupcakes, since they just looked too delicious. It was some chocolate cupcake, the cream on top seemed to be almond-based, really nice and also not expensive (2,80€)!
Unlike in my home-base Finland you actually give tips in Estonia and at this place I really liked doing so as the waitress was just really really nice and friendly :)
We were sitting outside, which was nice - and also the insight looked really cozy.
So, can warmly recommend coming here :)

Hip, and with good reason :) - Edit
Gorgeous cozy little restaurant in the Old Town area of Tallinn. My friend and I were very lucky to walk in a get a table as most had been reserved.
The menu was amazing - very creative with lots of choice.
The staff were very friendly, and the food was 5 star. Fresh, delicious and made with love. The creativity and originality of the dishes blow all of the veggie / vegan places I've been to in the UK out of the water. They have a recipe book out, and if it was available in English, I would have bought a copy. Awesome :)
Pros: Genuine friendly vibes, Fresh, delicious and wholesome food, Very reasonable price
Cons: Book ahead to avoid disappointment, Recipe book not available in English yet, Only one toilet

My favorite veggie burger - Edit
I was living in Estonia last year and was so happy when this place opened up. A friend of mine first brought me to V and I went back several times. I am usually not a big fan of veggie burgers, but I really loved theirs with beets. I wish I could have tried more menu items. I definitely recommend this place. I brought my non-veg family here and they seemed to like it too.

Fantastic gourmet vegan restaurant - Edit
This place is heaven for any vegan and I'm sure lots of meat-eaters would enjoy it too.
It's the finest vegan restaurant I've ever been to (have only been interested in vegan food for 3 years though) and I recommend anyone close to Tallinn to come here and discover this gem.
Apart from being vegan they offer a limited selection of raw dishes.
The starter platter and the desert were simply fantastic. I wouldn't have minded some more spice in the main course but that's really the most negative thing I can say about this restaurant.
There are not so many tables so it could be a good idea to book ahead. When we arrived there was only one free table at 2pm.
Pros: The best vegan food I've ever had, Attentive & very friendly staff, Excellent value for money
Cons: Not so many tables

excellent!! - Edit
I had dinner in this restaurant last 4th of August -I had booked a table beforehand.
The place was beautiful, simply decorated with really good taste, with a calm and nice atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They served cold water with lime and mint, which looked beautiful, and some really nice bread with olive oil while I waited for my food.
I chose two raw starters: the veggie salad with noodles with tahini and orange dressing and the beetroot ravioli. Both were EXCELLENT! the noodle salad came in a very generous portion, the noodles were made of zuchinni and turnip and the dressing was creamy and simply delicious, nicely decorated with a wedge of dehydrated orange and bicolour sesame seeds. The ravioli were even better!! the beetroot was very finely cut and had been marinated, and the cashew cheese filling was absolutely mouth watering, one of the best I've ever had.
As dessert I had the raw cashew cream with backthorn marmalade: amazing! it was an amazing combination of sour and sweet and beautifully looking.
While I ate I observed they had some cookbooks and colouring pencils, which I though was a cute detail :) I took a look at a raw food book they had which looked amazing -although it was in Estonian so I couldn't really read it!
The prices were great, at least more than reasonable! the two starters plus the dessert added up to 12 euros.
I give Vegan Restoran V a very well deserved rating of 5 cows!!
Pros: excellent food, great location&beautiful place, friendly and helpful staff
Cons: absolutely none! only book beforehand!

Pros: small terrace outside, staff speaks English very well!
Cons: small restaurant, so better book a table

My new favourite vegan restaurant in the world - Edit
The restaurant (in late June-early July) was packed between 1:00-2:30 pm – you’re lucky to get a table between 12-3 pm if you don’t have a reservation, and there's a longer wait for meals to arrive. I'm glad to see this place so popular. Open 7 days a week at 12 noon.
I ate here several times during my 18 days in Tallinn, and I tried many different items from the menu.
Menu: Interesting-sounding starters from €3,20-6,00, the latter for a snack platter of fava bean/mushroom pâté, fried tofu, cucumber cups with cashew crème, grilled zucchini with cashew cheese, sundried tomatoes and olives. Three soups, €2,80-3,50, including yellow beet with lentils and chestnut. Seven entrees, €4,90-7,80: spaghetti and lentil balls, chickpea burger, chili, stuffed zucchini and warm broccoli salad with tahini orange sauce, spicy tofu and quinoa with peanut sauce, curry, white-bean potato balls and two small (beer-infused Israeli) couscous inside grilled cabbage rolls with carrot & celery root purée and mustard sauce for 7,80. You can request complimentary bread and oil. Desserts, €3,00-3,70: cashew crème with sea buckthorn marmalade, avocado coconut pudding with date caramel and strawberry-mint salad (best dessert ever!), cupcakes. Wines. Beers, including an Estonian rye ale and a couple of organic beers. (Mikkeller, two IPAs by De Molen, organic Saison Dupont, a Latvian beer, two Icelandic beers, organic pear cider.) Coffees, teas, spirits, fresh pressed juice of the day. Four of the seven mains are GF; all three soups are GF (one raw).
I really enjoyed the potato balls meal. The veg-noodle salad (raw) has a nice light tahini-orange dressing (noodles were (raw) bean sprouts and spiralized carrot, zucchini and something white like endive).
Usually there was mellow music playing. Pleasant young women staff. Very reasonable prices. I even like the toilet.
Since I'd read that wait staff in Estonia earn a low wage, I tipped well. They deserved it.
Pros: all vegan, pleasant staff, delicious and creative food
Cons: No decaffeinated coffee., Opens only at noon, wish it was earlier.

How to do it right - Edit
Visited a few days ago, and was not disappointed. We were forewarned a table reservation might be necessary as the restaurant is quite popular (which, of course, is a great thing!), but managed by luck to get a table inside.
The staff was very friendly, yet professional, and the meals... oh boy. I'd really wish there's be more restaurants like this with a combination of laid-back, no-hassle environment and absolutely fantastic meals. (Looking at the photos from a few months back, we definitely had bigger portions.)
Heartily recommended!
Pros: friendly staff, big portions, great atmosphere

The Only Game In Town... - Edit
This is the only vegan restaurant in Tallinn (although others offer a limited vegan choice here and there) so you have to like it. The first time I tried to go, I was not able to get a table and it was raining so I could not sit outside (where, BTW, smoking is allowed to waft over you as you try to enjoy your food). I was luckier the next day and got a table inside for lunch. The entree was over salted, the fruit juice was more of a puree than a liquid and the dessert was tasty. But it's the only game in town so, if you're vegan, here is where you'll want to eat.
Pros: Great location, Friendly staff with English, Dessert
Cons: Over salted food, May not get a table, Smoking permitted at outside tables

Exceptional - Edit
An exceptional restaurant with incredibly good vegan food and personnel that is extremely helpful, friendly and service oriented.
Unfortunately, it's advisable to reserve a table in advance (Good for the restaurant). You can not book tables outside though.
The menu is available in English and the prices are very good. The size of the portions is adequate. The drinks are really expensive though.
Great place. We are going there again tomorrow. :) omnomnom
Pros: Food, Service, Ambience
Cons: Reservation required

Very good vegan restaurant in the old-town - Edit
The restaurant is located in the heart of the old-town of Tallinn and has a nice little outdoor-seating. The interior is also very cozy and clean. We enjoyed a mixed starter plate, which was very good and after that we had a burger with oven-baked vegetables (I definitely recommend this dish!) and a spicy tofu dish with vegetables and peanut-sauce (I definitley recommend this dish, too!).
Prices are moderate and absolutely correct.
Pros: excellent food, moderate prices, nice location
Cons: small outdoor-seating

Delicious meal - Edit
We visited on a Saturday night along with our meat eating friends and my daughter. Thankfully we had reserved a table as the place was very busy and we wouldn't have got in. We were served by the delightful Laura, who was very efficient and spoke perfect English. For starters we had the sharing platters and Mint Pea soup, with delicious herb bread, all very well presented and tasty - especially the cucumber cups with cashew cream. Main we had the delicately flavoured Yam and Coconut curry, which was truly delicious, my daughter loved her spaghetti and lentil balls. For desert the scrummy Cashew cream and Seabuckthorn marmalade,my daughter had a fabulous cupcake, followed by delicious Vana Tallin liquor. I can honestly say this was by far the most delicious Vegan restaurant meal I have ever eaten. The meat eaters were very satisfied and astonished at how cheap the meals were. I wish we were staying in Tallin longer I would eat there every night!
Pros: Service, Food, Prices
Cons: Need to book

Good food, beautiful location - Edit
This is a must for a vegan traveller in Tallinn. The food is good and fresh, I especially enjoyed their cashew cream, delicious! Some portions were a little bit on the small side, but that can't be said for their vegan cakes and desserts. Yummy! I'll definitely be back.
As others have pointed out, make a reservation or go early, it's super popular.
Pros: good, fresh food, awesome desserts
Cons: small place, gets crowded

Gourmet - Edit
The best vegan restaurant I've ever eaten in. I ate the full course there yesterday and it was all just super tasty. All the dishes were very well thought of and prepared. Lots of flavours and nuances for the taste pleasure.
The dishes are very affordable although they could be a tad bigger (the burgers served to the next table were big!). But since I ate the the full course, I left there my stomach full and with a smile on my face.
I would recommend this place for everyone regardless if your a vegan/vegetarian or not. Don't miss the avocado coconut pudding for the dessert!
Pros: Super tasty and all vegan!, Lots of mouth watering options, Really nice atmosphere and lovely staff

The New Favorite in Tallinn! - Edit
Not a bad word to say! When I got there after mid-day, there were free seats to take over, which enabled my extempore moment for some coffee to be quite a success.
Price-level is just great, slightly higher than in the average, dull non-veg places, but still below the average European restaurant prices, I'd say. Anyways, I felt bad after paying only 9 euros for the double-espresso, huge cupcake, and the smoothie-of-the-day, since for such a concept as this restaurant I would have loved to pay some more and support the great effort they have put in it and pulled it all out so successfully!
Pros: A great variety, all vegan, 100% tasty!, Lovely staff, Amazing, comfy interior
Cons: Not an extempore place, requires booking

Yes, we will be back! - Edit
Food looked delicious, tasted amazing.
When the 'Cucumber rolls with spicy carrot cashew crème' arrived at our table, we were impressed by the presentation. The taste matched the look and there was a small fight to ensure we both got our share of this dish.
We had a similar experience with each of the other 10 dishes we have now enjoyed from the menu.
The restaurant is in the Old Town of Tallinn in a well restored building that gives a feeling of history together with a sense of new life.
Chilled music added to the comfortable atmosphere that matched the nice service with a smile.
Our first visit was a hit and we reserved a table for our second visit on the way out. Second visit was alos a hit. Yes, we will be back again!
Pros: Excellent food, Good value

Long awaited! - Edit
I'm probably a bit biased because I've been waiting for Tallinn's first vegan restaurant for ages. And now it's here! And it's awesome!
I have only eaten there once so far, but counted together that I can go back about 10 times without ordering the same thing. Now that's something in a town where most places that have vegan options only offer 1-2 dishes.
V is situated in a great location, even though perhaps over-shadowed by its popular neighbor Aed. The ambiance is really pleasant: very cozy and relaxed with some quirky decorations. The service is excellent: both friendly and professional.
The food looks and tastes great and the selection is really good. I love their attention to detail when it comes to presentation - again this is something that most similarly priced restaurants seem to lack here.
The portions are medium-sized so if you are going in super hungry I suggest getting an entree as well. On the other hand it leaves more room for dessert.
The only downside is that there aren't really any Synday brunch dishes or specials. I would have loved some vegan pancakes or similar. I'm sure they will rectify that if there is enough demand though.
Can't wait to go back and take all my friends there as well!
PS: Make sure you book ahead, especially for dinner. This place is super popular!
Pros: Ambiance, Good service, Great selection of dishes
Cons: No brunch special

Vegan heaven in Tallinn - Edit
We found this restaurant by chance as it had just been open for a week. It's very cosy, staff is super friendly and most importantly the food is delicious. We had the snack plaster for starters, two mains and two desserts. All had different textures and very creative and tasty flavor combinations. They also have gluten-free and raw dishes well marked in the menu! A definitive vegan must-do in Tallinn and a food haven in chilly evenings.

564mario 29 Aug 2015 - The Vegan Restoran is in the city centre of Tallinn, Estonia. We have been there twice and, if our holiday had been longer, we would still eat there.
The food was good looking, soooo good sauces and all ingredients were well made and had a good consistence.
Fantastic ambience in the old town of Tallinn, low price.
The girls from the staff are really nice and competent. We surely asked a lot, because we have been so happy about the food.
We always came there with a huge hunger and it always was more than enough to eat.
