Necessary to visit when in Tallinn - Edit
I came here one night but was told I had to make a reservation, so I did for the next day noon.
Read moreSo glad I did! This is easily among the best food I've ever had in my entire life. The beetroot ravioli with cashew cheese topped with pistachio and pesto, was just an absolute dream. I had it with their complimentary Estonian dark bread, and it all melted together in my mouth. Also had a chai latte and sparkling water to help down it all.
My main course was the lentil lasagna which was topped with salad. It was very delicious. I liked that it wasn't greasy or anything, like lasagnas can sometimes be.
For dessert, I had a strawberry cheesecake in a chocolate shell, served over rhubarb and red currants. Against the chocolate shell within, are attached these small M&M-like balls of chocolates, which give the overall dessert an extremely satisfying crunch.
The atmosphere is also really nice, and the staff was lovely. Very homey, and warm inside, especially since I visited Tallinn during a very bitterly cold winter!
Pros: Most delicious food ever!, Affordable, Friendly and attentive staff, in homey atmosphere
Cons: Reservation is absolutely required

V is the place to go to when in Tallinn. Tasty food and super friendly service, always. I've tried so many of their portions, all great and well prepared. My new favorite has to be the skewers with noodles in curry sauce. Absolutely recommended!

This is a must visit every time in Tallin! But remember to make a reservation - and not just a night or two before, but earlier, since the place is very popular and small.

really variable menu with amazing flavours - Edit
Lots of options from different cuisines, had beetroot ravioli for starter, it was brilliant even though I'm usually not a fan of beetroot. Vegan burger for the main was a really good and ambitious dish, and homemade lemonade was the best drink I've ever had. My non-vegan partner loved it as well. Beautiful and cozy decor and lovely vibe. Everything was seasoned s o w e l l. Service was so amazing.

Fabulous restaurant! - Edit
Had a great experience here and plan to go back. Food fresh, creative and tasty. Lemon risotto with cashew cream, orange soy nuggets with curry and noodles both served with fabulous black bread. Traditional birthday cake was a surprising hit. As was sea buckthorn mulled wine. Yum! Plan to return.

Fresh, flavorful dishes. Cosy, atmosphere restaurant. Make a reservation! Always turning people away. Strawberry cheesecake on menu is misleading - please rename - maybe Cheese Curd Chocolate covered.

A perfect end to a day in Tallinn - Edit
Amazing food and amazing atmosphere. The soy skews in peanut sauce were one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time, and the risotto was very good as well. To cap things off the chocolate ganache desert was outstanding. I believe the menu changes from time to time but I can’t imagine there is a bad meal in this place.

an Estonian gem - Edit
Today I have been guest at Estonias first ever fully vegan restaurant. They have a very broad selection of food - I had the cauliflower- artichoke soup as a starter and the burger 🍔- my favourite food. I must say the patty burger substitute was not my favourite- I did enjoy the roasted pineapple 🍍 in it though and the cheese dip and everything else, the burger came with. I drank an alcohol free cider with the meal from Tori Popp with pineapple taste which was just yummy. Very recommendable restaurant also super cosy atmosphere and friendly service.

Best vegan restaurant in Tallinn - Edit
We've been there two times during our stay in Tallinn and each time the service and the food were perfect. We didn't know that you could basically only get a table if you have reserved one so we had to wait a bit but for the next time we had reserved via mail. The prices were expected since it's in the old town and Estonian price levels are rather high even for Germans. However we recommend at least one visit. You can reserve a table via phone or mail.

Simply put: WOW - Edit
The perfect place for a date with your loved-one! We ordered take out the other day (small place with only a few seats that are mainly reserved) but tonight when there was an available table, it was definitely worth it. The meals are superb. Whoever is cooking these dishes is an absolute pro. It is pricey (for Tallinn) but worth every penny.

So, so good! - Edit
This is a standout vegan restaurant in Old Tallinn. After our walking tour of Tallinn, we did a quick search on HappyCow and were lucky to find this place. The description states to reserve in order to ensure a table, but we were only in town for the day and decided to take a chance. Lucky for us, we were able to snag a table. There were several empty tables, but they all had reserved signs on them and there were a few parties turned away after we had arrived. It was meant to be!
Read moreAfter perusing the menu, we both decided to try a local bottled lemonade, and we ordered the sampler starter platter for two, the tofish bowl and the peanut-orange skewers. The Lemonade was tasty, but it started to get a little too sweet on its own. When the sampler platter arrived, the runner gave a quick rundown of all of the items on it and what they were made from. The platter was absolutely FABULOUS! There were different taste and textures and it seemed like there wasn't enough of each thing. We wanted more! Unfortunately they don't share the recipes of their dishes. (Well, at least not these, but they do offer a cookbook which we purchased and all the proceeds go to benefiting Ukraine.)
The mains arrived and we split them, eating half of each and then swapping plates. From the pics, you can see how each main is divided up into sections, so it was a little difficult to each half of each without mashing everything together. Each ingredient of each dish was very flavorful and each dish had its own variety of different textures, as well. Both dishes were executed very well and the flavors of the ingredients all worked together. The crispiness of the tofish with the nori inside provided a delightful crunch. All in all, an extremely memorable meal.
Will definitely be back if we make it back to Tallinn, and I highly recommend it so it will continue doing business!
Pros: Superb dishes on a very interesting menu, Friendly and knowledgable staff
Cons: Very small interior, so not a lot of seating

Loved every minute of it - Edit
Stumbled across this place within an hour of arriving in Tallinn. Part of me feels fortunate they had space for me that night and part of me wishes I had found it later in my trip. I loved everything about it and it subsequently set the bar high. They’ve only 8ish tables and seat about 20-24 maybe, so reservations on certain nights or time might be wise. I tend to eat at off hours, so I’ve lucked out. Wished I had been hungrier to do multiple courses as everything looked amazing, but just had the lentil lasagne and a glass of wine. So good, I ordered it via the Wolt food app a few days later as I didn’t want to go out one night. The service was fantastic, the ambiance was lovely, and again, the food set the bar high for the rest of my trip.
