Always really good even though I gotta say I prefer the ones in Amsterdam. The menu is a little bit different in Barcelona I think and it got served a bit different as well but overall nothing to complain about.

Delicious burgers and cocktails - Edit
Everything we ordered, the burgers, the drink and the fries, tasted very good, especially the cheese sauce for the fries! The staff was also very friendly and I would surely go back again 😍

More hype than heart? - Edit
Firstly, this is not a bad review just little things that I noticed whilst dining here.
Read moreWe arrived and it took us walking in and out of the venue several times to actually be approached and seated. My broken Spanish is BROKEN but, I tried as I feel ignorant otherwise. The server who showed us to the table seemed quite nonchalant and like they couldn’t really be bothered but I can’t judge for that as I know the hospitality industry can be soul destroying.
The restaurant looks cool af and we were seated next to the big neon VJFB sign which was mega. The problem with this was that we were tucked around the corner and basically ignored for a while.
We ordered, the order was quite straight forwards. My partner had the new ‘FIZZ’ burger and I had the ‘Kroquet’ we ordered a side of XL Cajun Fries, the Pink Truf sauce and some Hot chick sauce too.
When the food arrived the fries looked like a tiny portion so I kinda gathered that the XL was supposed to mean the size of the fries themselves as they were pretty chunky? The fries were also unseasoned so there was nothing Cajun about them but, I did ask a server that seemed to have swapped with the one that showed us to our table and she had said the fries were in fact the Cajun XL fries.
The Hot Chick sauce just tasted like mayo too and when I questioned that I was told it’s a spicy mayo (it wasn’t spicy).
The burgers were good, not out of this world but they were good.
We finished up and requested the bill which when we looked at it said “French fries” presuming that our XL Cajun fries were actually just fries? Regardless, we paid and off we popped. As we left we were thanked and it was pleasant but the whole experience just made me feel like I wouldn’t return out of choice.

Cool vegan restaurant featuring fun, colorful decor. Very Instagramable. Moving onto the food: delicious! I had the sweet potato fries with the Royal Smash burger that had a black bun, cheese lettuce “bacon” jalapeños, and a spicy sauce. I enjoyed every bite! Also had a dark chocolate jar dessert. The cocktails are also delicious and aesthetic! Bottom line: go here!

I love this place, as soon as you walk in its welcoming staff allow you time to take photos in the entrance (amazing, you'll have to see it for yourself) and then you are seated and the wait for food and drinks is not long at all! It is magical, the food is delicious and the staff are so friendly and bilingual - firm understanding of English too. Thank you for this amazing experience.

I love the style and decor of the inside. But mostly, I love the food options. Besides vegan burgers and fries, they have “seafood” and desserts. So many options and I wish I could try them all!

Good food, but expensive - Edit
As the first Vegan Junk Food Bar in Amsterdam appeared, we were there on occasion. A true "snack bar" (fast food), a small place that grew into this amazing international concept. However, this is a real restaurant and the food doesn't come as fast. We enjoyed the food once again here in Barca, but it is quite expensive for what you get.

Food was excellent! Cocktails were super tasty. Only reason I haven’t put 5 stars is the service was pretty slow/weird. About half of our food came out super quick, then the rest took so long that everyone who had got their food so far had completely finished it by the time the rest came out. Also a few of us who’d ordered drinks at the same time were given our drinks after food where as everyone else had got theirs before. Strange. But the food was sooo good and the place is very cool.

Best vegan fish - Edit
I decided to be bold and try the fish and chips. It’s usually so greasy that it’s difficult to enjoy, but I’m on a mission to find a good version. VJFB did not disappoint: mission accomplished. In fact, it’s the best vegan fish I’ve ever had. Husband had a burger…also fantastic. We got the chocozito dessert: small but mighty - the raspberry sauce was key.

Recomiendo también provar los postres. No son propios (los encargan a una pastelería especializada) pero están riquísimos.
Actualización mayo 2022: han hecho redistribuciones en el local y ahora no me pareció tan ruidoso. La comida sigue siendo espectacular! Aún así pecamos de ingenuos y nos pedimos 2 patatas (no contábamos que las raciones eran muy grandes) y nos costó acabarlas. Como recomendación especial: sweet potato fries

First time I've visited this particular restaurant in the growing chain, the one in Amsterdam is already one of my favourites. Just as fun, just as bright, just as creative, staff just as cool and friendly and the food is as fantastic as the original restaurant. Definitely come here when in this beautiful city!

Really good options on the food and drinks menu, felt the food didn't taste as good as it looked, I really liked my burger but my partner didn't really like her plant based mac and cheese dish. Would recommend to try still if your about and wanting a vegan place to eat.

Read moreI had the ‘fish’ XO burger and it’s the best I’ve tasted since I stopped eating fish. My partner had the notorious sumo and was absolutely stuffed so full that he could not move for around 30 minutes. We both had a side of fries and my partner also enjoyed the Baileys cocktail for dessert!
Lovely staff, nice vibe and absolutely recommended!
