Best vegan desserts - Edit
Incredibly delicious vegan desserts ranging from tiramisu, salted caramel chocolate tarts and key lime pies (unfortunately sold out when we visited) are all available at Vegan Heaven, for very good prices. They also sell a vegan version of the famous Taiwanese pineapple tarts here. The bakery itself is very cute too!

This place is a vegan heaven - just exactly same as its name! Just a small bakery with few vegan bakery items. Owners were both lovely & friendly, even tried to promote other vegan eateries. However, I've never tried their beverage and I probably should!

This fully vegan bakery is located 15 minutes walk away from Taipei 101 MRT Station.
Read moreThe friendly owner bakes cookies, cakes and macarons daily, and do not sell overnight leftovers. Also, they have some of the best vegan cakes I've ever tried - so moist! Each of the cake slices retails for less than S$3.

When we arrived in Taipei, Vegan Heaven was closed for a holiday. Our wait was well rewarded when we arrived on the day (and almost the minute) they re-opened.
Read moreThe guy working there was so friendly and helpful, taking us through each of the offerings one by one - so hard to choose. We opted for a rhubarb and pecan tart, and a chocolate and salted caramel tart, as well as picking up some great biscuits, pineapple cakes (shortbread) and macaroons to stave off any withdrawal symptoms.
This place is not just Vegan Heaven!

I stopped by on a gloomy rainy afternoon and was welcomed warmly by the owner. We had a great chat about vegetarian/vegan diet and lifestyle.
Read moreThe lemon pound cake is THE best I've had in my life - both vegan and regular options. I suggested having coconut/rice/almond milk options in addition to soy milk they offer for their coffee.
Definitely agree with everyone else: you need to come and experience Vegan Heaven!

I've never been to any other better vegan dessert places. Vegan Heaven is definitely my No. 1 choice - not only do they have a plethora of options from cakes, pies, macaroons, pineapple cakes and other snacks, the owners of the store are super nice and friendly. Highly recommended!

If you are in Taipei please make every effort to go here!! The woman who serves us was an absolute pleasure, just so lovely and warm and friendly and generous!! We bought two iced coffees, a macaron each and a little tart to share. Everything was delicious, especially the macarons! As we were gobbling up our treats, we were given free samples of about 6 or 7 other items (no pressure to buy them, she just seemed super excited to share them with us!), and can high highly recommend the dark chocolate cookies and the traditional pineapple shortbread cookies. We bought extra to take with us on a hike. I wish I lived next door to this place!!

The baked goods here are to die for. Everything in their display shelf is hand crafted with love and all natural ingredients. I have bought almost all flavours and it is so hard to pick a best. To describe a few memorable cakes, the dark chocolate tart is very dense, rich in flavour and creamy in texture. The blueberry topped chocolate mouse is very interesting, its got pineapple and passion fruit filling hidden within the mouse, which gave it a fruity and refreshing taste. They also sell macarons, cookies, pound cakes, scones and pineapple cake. When you go there you will be greeted by a very nice and warm lady, she is extremely helpful and friendly.
