I had the Grilled Cheese Sandwich. The sandwich was excellent - grilled sourdough bread sandwich with vegan cheese and onions. The bread was perfectly soft and crispy. The sandwich was served with a salad, which was great, too. We sat outside in the backyard - the atmosphere was really nice, we witnessed the green of the blooming garden close-by. The staff was friendly. No menu on the tables, it was available only online, yet not up-to-date, which was a bit confusing: Online it said, waffles were not available, at the counter they told us they were, but the online menu hadn't been updated. The coffee with oat milk was very good.

This place was a vibe, felt cosy and healthy, we had smoothies and shared a breakfast. Food was so fresh and tasty, a must try for a wholesome meal. Staff were really friendly too and the cake cabinet looked a dream.

We went here for breakfast and got there just after 10 and it was already almost full! A good range of gluten free options - we had the grilled cheese and waffle with cherrys and both were delicious.

The highlight of our Berlin trip! - Edit
You have to try the grilled cheese toast!! It was one of the best dishes we ate during our five day trip in Berlin. The eggdrop sandwich was tasty as well. The terrace was lovely on a sunny morning. All in all we had a really nice experience!

I came here for brunch on a Saturday. The place is cute. The staff are friendly and helpful. I ordered a matcha latte and the VeggDrop. Both were delicious (the VeggDrop was so good - the textures and taste were so unique to anything else I’be had before).
Read moreIt did take about 30 minutes to get my meal, the drink came right away but was finished long before my sandwich came. It’s a small place that’s busy. You can tell they take care to make the food, so be prepared for the wait (it’s worth it).
I also picked up a chocolate chip cookies to go - it was delightful.
I definitely recommend coming here when you’re in Berlin. Totally worth it.

We went for Sunday brunch and it was delicious! All vegan and so many different options. Definitely finish off the day with the brownie raspberry cheesecake, it was the best vegan cheesecake I’ve ever had!

We were looking for a cozy breakfast spot to start our day before exploring Berlin, and after browsing through Happy Cow for a while, we came across Vegan Backyard. This charming little vegan café didn’t have the highest number of reviews, but in our experience, those small places with fewer—but consistently excellent—reviews often turn out to be the real gems. So we decided to give it a try, and oh my, what a treat it was!

Both were absolutely delicious, and the combination of savory and sweet was perfect for an early morning meal. We couldn’t get enough of the amazing flavors, so we decided to try two small cakes as well—a slice of carrot cake and a piece of cheesecake. Everything was incredibly flavorful, and with full and happy stomachs, we were ready to take on the day!

Ich mochte schon das "no milk today" als es in den selben Räumen war. Musste natürlich das (V)eggdropp-Sandwich probieren. Das war gut, aber bisschen (mehr) schwefelsalz hätte nicht geschadet. Auf der Karte stehen ansonsten nicht so viele Sachen und dem Café würde 2-3 mehr Items nicht schaden. Stuff ist aber mega freundlich und in jedem Fall ein Besuch wert. 😊
