Nice place for coffee or breakfast/lunch - Edit
Replacing "No Milk Today" (the vegan café that was here for many years) wasn't easy. But they succeeded in creating an open, airy space, comfortable to hang out with friends over a coffee or meal, or even a quick (excellent) coffee and cake. Today I had a Goat "cheese" Quiche and a really nice Kele Moss smoothie. Served with love.

I loved the scrambled tofu toast. The bread was fluffy and nice. The sourdough toast fades in comparison and the waffle was also just nothing special. The star was definitely the scrambled tofu and I would go back for that. A bit too long waiting time, though. Both for coffees and then too long waiting for the food. #Veganuary

Each of us ordered the egg drop sandwich which was very filling. I enjoyed the first half a lot but by the time I was eating the second half I would have really appreciated another texture to contrast with the soft tofu, sauce, bread. The speculoos latte was delicious, the pumpkin latte pretty nice. The menu is pretty simple, maybe 4 brunch options of different comfort foods.

I like the all vegan cafe and its atmosphere. Came here for the vegan Christmas market where we had to wait quite a long time. I mean, it’s good that it is so popular but the queues could have been managed better. Some people left without getting food because they ran out of patience. We stuck around and sat inside over a hot drink until they closed. The hot chocolate with whipped cream that I had was yummie. I’m planning to come back on a normal day for breakfast or brunch.

The ambience is a bit boring for my taste but it works.
The tofu scramble's taste was a bit overpowered by turmeric and lacked the typical kala namak flavor, or other interesting seasoning.

Cheese Sandwich, Rührtofu-Brioche und Belgische Waffeln - absolut köstlich, liebevoll und gekonnt zubereitet. Auch der Kaffee ist sehr gut, eine sehr freundliche Bedienung obendrein. Wir sind froh, dass wir den Vegan Backyard entdeckt haben und nicht in Berlin wohnen, denn dann würden wir ab jetzt verarmen.

Utterly gorgeous vegan eaterie with gluten-free options - Edit
I visited here the day after the marathon and it was definitely worth the walk. I had a gorgeous grilled vegan cheese sandwich plus a wonderful plum tart (also gluten free). Was able to sit outside in the sun, although there was plenty of room inside. Coffee excellent. Service really friendly. Highly recommended.

Wir waren zum Brunchen im Vegan Backyard und hatten den French Toast und daa Smashed Peas Sandwich. Der French Toast war sehr lecker und hat gut geschmeckt. Leider hat uns das Smashed Peas nicht ganz überzeugen können. Wir fanden es ziemlich fad und dazu beide Gerichte ziemlich teuer, wenn man die Portionsgröße beachtet. Alles in allem kein schlechter Anlaufpunkt zum Essen, aber es gibt in Berlin bessere Orte zum brunchen.
