Awesome Vegan Shop - Edit
A cool shop that has a wide range of vegan items for all aspects of life. Great being able to browse and not having to wonder whether there was animal cruelty involved. Got to learn about different vegan brands (clothing and other areas) that I hadn't heard of before!

It was a little shop with all sorts of vegan goods from stickers to bags to shoes to food(for pets too). I bought a pair of comfy shoes on sale. The worker there is also super nice.

Huge range of vegan shoes, clothes, food, cosmetics and more - Edit
We loved this shop and tried on some shoes. Unfortunately the boots just didn’t fit right and the others weren’t in my size. We still got some nice kombuchas, cookies, and stickers. They are lucky to have a shop like this in the center of the city. Lovely staff too who are so helpful and multilingual. Super.

good place to buy vegan shoes - Edit
I was looking for a place to try on vegan shoes for a while and this one was the best one I found in the middle/ western part of Europe. Of course the selection is nothing compared to a general shoe shop but they had a decent amount of choice and almost everything I asked for was there in my size. Even though I'm very picky I found a good pair of soft faux suede sneakers and by surprise also a pretty pair of textile high heels. Those were even available in half sizes. There was also an outlet of discounted shoes in only very limited sizes.

The employee/ owner was very kind and helpful and up for a chat about other vegan options and places in Amsterdam.
If my opinion is asked, I would like the shop to concentrate more on shoes because that is the most useful in my opinion. Other items you would easily find in the supermarket or order online. I would personally like some more options in dark coloured shoes like dark blue or dark red, there were almost only black ones and light ones.

Nice small shop with vegan items, I decided to visit the shop because I received a discount code from the NVV (Dutch Association for Veganism), just like all the other members.

While I was in the back of shop I heard the employee having a strange conversation with a 'customer' who called. The 'customer' wanted to tell something, and the employee was a bit defensive in the way of talking about not being the owner and that they could not do anything and they should email if they wanted to say/share something. Don't know what the person on the other side of the telephone line said. But I did not found this very pleasant, and made me feel a bit uncomfortable, mainly because of the unkind way the employee answered called. Afterwards I looked up some google reviews, and read that another customer had a not so pleasant experience with an employee (where is was also mentioned that they were not the owner). And I find it a bit odd that there is a need to mention that so explicitly.

Vegan shop with clothing, shoes, candy, vegan dogfood and some other vegan goodies. They offer a nice amount of dog candy (my dog loved the seaweed sticks) and also some test samples of vegan dogfood so that your dog can choose his own favorite food!

The existence of this place is amazing by default. I love having a vegan shop in Amsterdam. And recently they started doing events too, and they do it well. I went with some friends to the cheesetasting and overall it was just a fun 2-hour experience. Very good for business as everyone ends up buying something, either the cheese, something new to try or something they need at the time. The place really has a lot of variety of vegan stuff, from dog food to dress shoes to activist t-shirts to a fridge full of vegan cheese. I’m so grateful for the existence of this place.

Vegan brands are often online only and it’s difficult to tell if shoes will fit well or feel comfortable. Here you can try them on. I bought slip ons from Matt and Nat, which I would never have known how tightly they fit without trying them on.

The store is conveniently located in the center of Amsterdam and the staff are very friendly. It also has quite a few vegan selections that I haven't really seen anywhere else! There's also quite a few vegan pet foods and snacks.

2017 - I haven't been to the new location yet, but visited the shop on the old location a couple of times.
That was a rather small shop, stacked with goodies. Also some nice books, and T-shirts with prints.
Ordered a pair of shoes through the webshop once, everything went very smooth.

It's great to have a 100% vegan shop where you don't need to check the labels, and even more when there is such a large variety of stuff, from cosmetics to shoes to books and bags.
