Vegan Chef Challenge Menu - Edit
Visited this place during the Sacramento Vegan Chef Challenge to try their entries and we were blown away! Tried 5 items on the menu and loved each one! The pumpkin ravioli and pumpkin cheese cake were outstanding! Here’s hoping they become seasonal staples on the menu!

Spectacular brunch - Edit
We had a lovely brunch experience here. The service was very friendly and helpful in identifying gluten free options. The entire restaurant is Vegan, which is great. We ordered the griddle sandwich, avocado toast and the chicken and waffles made with oyster mushrooms and candied jalapeños - wow! Will definitely be back if in Sacramento.

Good experience - Edit
Cute and upstairs in a tight little house. The service was nice and food was good. I got the breakfast combo and found it... dry, but they had a breakfast burrito with a red curry on it and it was amazing. The French toast is also great. We had a nice brunch with mimosas. Would definitely come back.

Its ok - Edit
It's not in the best area because it's hard to find parking. The curry is amazing and the breakfast tofu scrambles. I've woken up on sunday and been craving it. I called them to specify which items were vegan and they told me that all menu items are vegan. When I have it delivered, they dont give me a lot of food.

All vegan now. It's worth the pain to park! - Edit
Parking is always a big issue for us. And this place has *some* street parking. It is the stairwell next to Thai basil. The food is down right amazing. I got the cauliflower buffalo wings with ranch and carrots and it was not so spicy and so amazing. My husband good the bangers and mash which he loved. We liked it so much we got the cowboys fries to-go!
Read moreHowever I was not a fan of the alcohol drinks. We got the ginger tea & the blueberry lemon drop. Both were extremely bitter.
All in all. I loved it and will be back ASAP.
Pros: All vegan now.

Very Cute and Hip place - Edit
Loved the atmosphere - very chill. Very friendly staff.
Read moreIt's a bit hidden. A larger sign would be nice on the door as well as one at the bottom of the stairs telling customers to go up.
Potato fries/wedges were so yummy. The creamy garlic pasta was like a garlic mac n cheese. I liked the crispy garlic and crispy mushrooms on top - gave it nice texture.
The beyond burger was nice, bun was nice. It just felt like it was missing something...like grilled onions or grilled mushrooms.
Overall, cool. I'll stop by whenever I'm in Sac.
Pros: Friendly staff, Good food
Cons: Nice music but it's a bit too loud., Hard to find the place.

Delicious choices - Edit
We had crepes with creamy panang curry, Impossible sausage, extra crispy hash browns, and French press coffee from the daily special menu. Everything tasty and well prepared. Nice to have something other than tofu :). They now offer a vegan egg; not sure if that replaces chicken eggs or just an available substitute. Great waiter explained everything and handled our special requests well.

Yes! 100 times yes! - Edit
I am the biggest Veg Cafe fan! I love their fresh rotating menu. There’s always something new to try. They do have mainstays but enjoy the seasonal dishes! They make the best Impossible Burger and fries! Happy hour is also a good deal with specials and drinks. The staff here is amazing. They always chit chat with you (if that’s your thing) and are always a joy to laugh with. The owner is so friendly and helpful. Just sitting there for a cup of tea is zen like. They have a really nice view of J street. I love coming here after a long day.

basically vegan cafe - Edit
Really good, casual cafe. Everything is vegan except the side of fried egg, so don't worry. They serve a large variety of dishes, and everything is fresh. The cafe is adorable to boot😄Veg also serves alcohol and has a happy hour too! It's really a great cafe. They serve the Impossible burger- which I tried for the first time. It was actually good! I was expecting it to be more flesh-like, but it wasn't (thankfully), I could tell it was plant based.

The food is good, but pricey considering what you're actually getting. Also, parking is hard to find. The menu is very minimal as well.

All Vegan Weekdays - Edit
My go-to spot for a lovely lunch during or after work! Everything on their lunch menu and daily special board are vegan. Anything not vegan on their weekend brunch can most likely be made vegan. They serve eggs upon request and in their weekend dishes.

Amazing! - Edit
Truly an amazing spot to go to! The energy is welcoming, staff is super helpful. Ordered the French toast - hands down the best French toast I’ve ever ate! The toppings were a great touch. Make sure to order an iced latte with cinnamon and soy milk while you’re at it, as a coffee lover it hit the spot for me. 14/10 would recommend and already planning on coming back :)

This is a beautiful new restaurant with an all vegan menu except for an optional egg. Gorgeous, trendy surroundings, lovely service and amazing food. The summer crepe was absolutely stunning. We're so glad we decided to come to this place whilst in transit between Tahoe and Burlingame.

Everything about this place! - Edit
I love the location, atmosphere, decor, vibe, and the staff here. But most importantly, the food is soooo good and all vegan! I never thought I’d have a crepe again in my life but the vegan crepe was excellent! Great ginger guacamole too and great specials. It was hard to decide what to order so I’ll have to just keep going back! Will definitely be hitting up brunch sometime soon for vegan French toast.
