Charming Café - Edit
Interesting menu items with good variety, very friendly staff, and lovely enclosed porch seating. It wasn’t mind-blowingly good food, but it is good and I would eat here again for sure. My biggest note is they need to upgrade their old cheap dishware badly, but the waitress said there is a new owner and they are doing that soon!

Cons: Lousy dishware, Recipes could use a little tweaking, Surprise charges on bill

Underwhelmed - Edit
I ordered the Curry Bowl because I love a good curry dish served with rice.
Read moreThe Curry Bowl was underwhelming because the rice was room temp and the curry has a tad of warmth to it, but not even luke warm. I didn't bother to asked if it's supposed to be served room temp, not the possibility to have it heat up in a microwave. The flavor was land to be because it had a very mild taste of curry and the rice was more on the dry side. Sadly, the curry sauce was not enough to help with the dryness.
I told the server after I order my meal that most likely I will order a dessert and a coffee. Maybe I was not cleared and the server wasn't not a coffee with dessert kind of person. My cappuccino came before the Ukrainian Babka Cake. Again, the cappuccino was not hot but luke warm. I never had Ukrainian Babka Cake but I had open mind to see if it's to my personal linking. The texture was interesting. It had a dense spongy texture with a bit of crispy outer to texture. Again, pretty bland but I am glad it was not overly sweeten. (so when I mentioned bland, it's lack of any flavor). They told me they used agave, but there should be other way to add more flavor to it. I Googled the traditional recipe and it uses honey. There are so many vegan honey recipe add dandelion to the flavor. Why can’t agave be adding some more flavor to it?
This definitely is one if the places with to a of good reviews, but I was underwhelmed. Reviewers had failed on this one.

You can’t go wrong with their Curry Bowl, it’s filling but at the same time not too heavy. If you want something heavy and delicious try their Oktoberfest Plate.

We ate in that golden hour before the dinner rush — around 4:30 in the afternoon. The Boiga burger was excellent! The housemade cheesecake excellent.

Lunchtime - Edit
Seems to have a good following. Busy at 1p, but not crowded, with open tables. Service seemed slow given other people came, ate and left by the time we got our food. Maybe you can order ahead?
Read moreI enjoyed the Special BLT with avocado and the side salad was nicely dressed. “Bacon” was crispy and the bread was good. My date had the Special Panzanella Salad with house made ricotta. He liked the salad, the ricotta was kind of bland.
Cute place. We found a parking spot easily.
Pros: Vegan!, Location
Cons: No outdoor seating

We went back for Sunday Brunch. Same thing happened again! Someone else was seated after us, ordered after us and was served before us. This time I asked the server, how this happens. I was told it was our order that delayed us being served. The kitchen had to make more waffle batter. Just seems the kitchen is not well organized.

Decided to go here for brunch with my family and they had a lot of options. I REALLY enjoyed the food. Everything was well seasoned! We got waffles, fries, the breakfast burrito, just egg scrambled, and French toast. Everything was soooo yummy! Will definitely come back!

Mushroom calamari (seasonal dish) was AMAZING. Maybe the best food I’ve ever eaten.

Saturday Bday Brunch - Edit
(I really want to give more then 3 star)
Read moreMy bestie birthday was today so we decided to check this place out for first time. It was busy so we had to wait about 30mins to be seated.
Once ordered our food took 1.5hrs to come out and then the food wasn’t even hot. I had the mushroom ck’n and waffles. It was very tasty but I was disappointed in the long wait and then food not hot. I didn’t complain because we were so hungry and didn’t dare make them take it back after our long wait. I’m willing to try again whenever I’m in the Sac area, maybe today was just a off day with the kitchen. Our waiter however was nice and she gave my friend a free choc cake for her bdays. Willing to try again because I want to try that oyster mushroom sandwich it looked very good.
Pros: Tasty , Cute little outdoor garden/patio
Cons: Long wait on food , Food not hot

Great Menu - Edit
There is so much to choose from here. I ordered the house burger made from beets and mushrooms. I split a fried Brussels sprouts salad and fries. Then I ordered the bread pudding for dessert. I enjoyed the meal, but would not order the bread pudding again. This is some of the best food I’ve ever eaten at a vegan restaurant.

Fries are such a win - Edit
Big yum here. I was so happy to find the corn dog on the menu, it was delicious. But best of all were the fries! The taste reminded me of curly fries at “late night” of my college dorm years ago. Excellent spices on that.
Read moreThe place itself is very cute and welcoming, stationed above the thai restaurant. The entrance is to the left.
