Delicious!

Great food, very high quality.

The "fried chicken" was so good it actually made me feel awkward eating it!

Salt and vinegar chips yum!

We also had the scrambled tofu and a broccoli special, both we're very nice. :-)

Pros: High quality, Extensive menu , Delicious

Cons: Only a few tables outside

Excellent! 👌

Staying across the street at the Chelsea where vegan options are Very limited, I was super happy to discover this place & ended up going 3 times! The chicken & waffles were amazing! Had the egg McMuffin one day, which was great, as well as the full English. Staff & atmosphere great too.

Perfect veganised classics

Went early in the day, and even though it was super quiet, service was super friendly and more than happy to talk us through the NY vegan food scene. Ordered the buffalo oyster mushroom sandwich and the waffles. Both absolutely spot on.

A nice surprise!

I was hungry (and cold) and walking to an appointment, hoping to find somewhere to stop along the way with something on the menu that I could eat, and I literally almost walleyed past this place, when I noticed it was a vegan restaurant. So I popped inside. I decided on the BLT and it was delicious. I was son hungry that I forgot to take a photo, but I’ll definitely back the next time I’m in the area!

A perfect place to hide from a snow storm!

We really enjoyed our impromptu lunch here. The space was relaxing and the decoration really cool. The food was delicious, staff were really friendly and we also sampled an incredible mocktail!

Incredible! Must-visit!

This place is AWESOME! Amazing variety, delicious food, friendly staff, and cute atmosphere.

I LOVED my tofu scramble! A great, protein-packed meal. I also ordered some seitan wings to-go, which were yummy! I also enjoyed a yummy soy latte.

This place is so unique and fun, I can’t wait to go back!

Average (But Vegan) Food, Amazing Service

This restaurant offers vegan versions of a wide variety of foods that are typically animal-based. The menu is entirely vegan and kosher, so you can pursue their options with complete peace of mind. The menu contains a section of gluten-free entrees.

Wait staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Pros: 100% vegan menu, Helpful wait staff, Nice ambience

Wanted it to be great but…

We ordered the GF carrots, GF mushrooms and cauliflower, a GF lasagna special and the GF BLT.
Fried mushrooms were very rubbery and over cooked, some not even edible but the cauliflower and carrots were very good. The lasagna was lovely to look at but the rice pasta was terribly overcooked, turning the plate into a big pile of mush, albeit with good flavor. The BLT came on very thick, cake-like “white-bread” that simply was like tasteless dough, ruining the sandwich. There was also not enough tempeh bacon to make a difference. We took nothing home between the two of us. Cost was over $121.00 bucks without the tip.

Pros: Good vibe, Personable waitstaff, Atmosphere

Cons: Terrible BLT (bread was disgusting), Terribly mushy lasagna, Rubbery, overcooked fried mushrooms

Great menu

Love this spot! A big and diverse menu (including all day breakfast). The service was great. I tried the lasagna special which was delicious and so were the empanadas to share.

Overpriced and underwhelmed

I got the chick’n pot pie and the flavors were fine but the texture of the chick’n was unpleasant. Also got the chili fries and they were not worth the money. I won’t avoid but I won’t go out of my way to eat here.

Pros: Atmosphere, Menu choices

Cons: Price

THE WINGS

Ate here two nights in a row on our trip. SO AMAZING. The BBQ wings with the ranch were life changing and are the best I’ve ever experienced.

The Punks can Cook!

Urban vegan kitchen is a fantastic joint. Great seating for a date, they’re also super efficient at serving you. Their food is incredible and their waiters are very attentive and helpful. I went back the same day because it was so good. Also conveniently located pretty close to the train station, so it’s a great place to go before leaving the city.

Pros: Amazing food, Great staff

Cons: Small drink sizes

Tasty comfort food!

The food was all delicious! We particularly loved the Korean BBQ wings, the wild at heart chunk steak and Mac n’ cheese. The “Respect your elders” mocktail was refreshing.

The restaurant decor is fun and Danny, the owner, and the staff were super friendly.

Good chicken and waffles

Chicken and waffles was fantastic. Disappointed that they didn’t have fried chicken. Bbq chicken was Korean flavored and didn’t taste that great. White sangria was good.

Delicious food

We ordered the No-Salmon and the Seitan Scallopini — both dishes were truly flavorful and satisfying. Everything was packed with taste and beautifully prepared.
It’s just a shame that the “salmon” used (Oshi) belongs to a brand associated with a Zionist military figure — otherwise, the experience would have been perfect.

Astoundingly great food; friendly and fun

My visit started with a warm, friendly greeting from Danny, and afantastic elderberry mocktail called “Respect your Elders” recommended by my upbeat, knowledgeable waiter Adriel.
I went with the two specials. First, an appetizer which was an appetizer of grilled elote, served like “corn on the ribs, which could have served four. Then, a “fishless sandwich” built around a crispy-crusted celery root center, solid yet tender. This was tucked into a toasty-edged bun with tomatoes, greens and a delicious dressing.
I was too full for one of their very intriguing, desserts, but I request I was brought a small bootsmall bowl of fresh fruit and whipped cream.
Highly highly recommended.

Pros: Delicious food and helpful, friendly staff, Colorful environment and upbeat music, Creative, varied menu would please anyone

A must visit in NYC

Lovely food, lovely people! We had several things and everything was good, but the Luca Brasi salmon pasta is crazy good! And don't sleep on the desserts, not with a tahini chocolate chip cookie like that! This is the kind of vegan place that's getting hard to find - a nice sit down atmosphere with table service and reasonable prices. So please support!

Extremely good!

Burger was the size of my head. Absurdly delicious. Great vibe inside!

Got dessert too, insane that the the one scoop of ice cream was 8 bucks, and I didn't know it would be that pricy 😱

Absolutely would go back!

Great urban vegan food!

Ordered the mac and cheese and the seitan scallopini.

The mac and cheese was good. Think it was a nooch and plant milk based one. Was topped with a nooch nut dust and a few scallions. Was pretty good but not cheesey enough for my liking.

The seitan scallopini was fantastic. Think the seitan was house made and had some good crispy edges. Was served on mash potato’s with a caper lemon and mushroom sauce.

Would love to return to try more of the comfort food menu!
