Great fresh treat - Edit
First takeaway in over a year. Spur of the moment thing. No need to preorder. Good space for ordering and waiting. Floor clearly marked. Hand sanitizer station easy to find and use. Falafel freshly formed from raw mixture and cooked to order. Salads boxed up on ordering. We had different salads, both very tasty and fresh. Plenty of herbs etc. Not oily. We had green tea and mint tea. I thought it was strange that there was also a regular breakfast tea bag in both teas but it worked. The hummus and baklava were delicious. Just under £20 for the two of us. Really good. We have been oil free for about 6 months and didn't feel unwell after this meal, well for 5 hours anyway as I'm reviewing 5 hrs after. Staff wearing masks and gloves and close enough to botanic gardens to eat outside and still be warm. Recommended.

Quick and friendly service. The halloumi wrap is awesome. Pretty out there menu so was limited to my bland palette but more of a personal issue than the restaurant

Visited with a friend and shared the meal for 2. It was a good portion size with great tasting hummus and falafel. Most of the menu is vegan and the staff were friendly.

Amazing Middle Eastern food at a decent price! - Edit
Always enjoy visiting Umi and can always rely on it for a good, filling meal at a decent price! I really recommend the lentil soup, lentil salad and Palestinian falafel sandwich. Also a huge fan of the minted lemonade juice which is made fresh.

Had a “palestinian falafel” döner. The falafels are delicious slightly crispy, and blend perfectly with hummus, grilled aubergines and fresh vegs. Fast service and lovely staff.

A perfect lunch or dinner option - Edit
I eat in here all the time and have referred it to friends and family, with nothing but compliments. The food is consistently amazing and caters to veggies and vegans. The only thing I would add is that the have got my order wrong on at least 5 different occasions when I am taking away - always check the bag! Despite that, the staff are always attentive and bubbly - everything is always done with a smile. Great lunch or dinner option.

Great falafels! - Edit
I ate here twice. The first time I got a pitta with falafels which was delicious. The next time we got a sharing dish which was very good value and included falafels, vine leaves, hummus, a salad (like a lentil salad not just lettuce salad) etc.. Enjoyed eating here both times and would highly recommend.

Love it - Edit
My go-to vegan lunch option in Belfast. Falafel are delicious, and the lunch menu gives you plenty of tasty accompaniments. Lentil soup, a huge falafel pita and a coffee is a great feed for 7 quid!

Excellent menu and food - Edit
The menu contains lots of vegan options, and the prices are very fair; some might end up building a two-dish dinner and for someone who eats quite an amount of food, this option can lave you very happy with both taste and quantity.

Great food, great service - Edit
This place has been a well blessing to me in my first week of being a vegan. I study at queens so this place is really handy for me. Beyond that though, the food really is delicious and the staff are lovely. The vegan options are clearly marked on the menu which is helpful. Thank you umi.

Best Falafel You Will Ever Have - Edit
I've eaten a lot of falafel in my time from many places but this by far has to be the most delicious (and filling for that matter)! I had the palestanian falafel Sandwhich/ pitta pocket in the meal deal one which had wedges and a soft drink too! It was delicious and super cheap- one of the cheapest places I've ever found, cheaper than your bog standard canteen even! Lots of love for this falafel house! Menu has more vegan options than not vegan ones!!!!
Read morePros: almost all vegan apart from some meals have cheese, delicious will be the best falafel you will have , one word- tahini
