We had the tofu skewers and non-alc beers. The tofu portion itself was big but the fries and salad were not big enough to fill us. We ended up ordering a side of sweet potato fries to compensate.
In terms of flavors, the tofu skewers were amazingly good but they might’ve cooked them in the same grill that they use for meats. I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt. We had a horrible stomach ache afterwards but I’m giving it a 3.5 because it could’ve been the non-alc beers.
Great food and service rare for the area, in my opinion. - Edit
The food and service was phenomenal. I’m vegetarian, not vegan, so my food choices were not limited to vegan, but the waitress was savvy in inquiring if I wanted to skip the Mayo- based dip. The cornbread was so good that I’m sad this restaurant isn’t local to me, so I can tell everyone to go have some. The tofu skewers were cooked to perfection and nicely flavored.
We had the tofu satay — it’s sautéed in a peanut sauce and served with French fries. And from the other side of the kitchen (they serve BBQ and sushi) we had two delicious veggie rolls. Their “eel sauce” is actually just sweet soy sauce they told us. They have tofu, veggies, tempura, it’s all really amazing. Great drinks and a really cool atmosphere too. They grow a bunch of food just below in a farm visible from the patio!
This place was amazing! It was super busy the night that we went and they still made sure we were able to get done in time for our bio- bay tour. There are 2 separate kitchens serving BBQ and sushi. Both menus had multiple vegan options. The food was excellent and so were the drinks! Highly recommend you make a reservation or plan to wait to be seated. It is pricey like most places on this island. Worth every penny!
We had the tofu skewers, Buddha roll, and veggie roll all made vegan as well as fresh passion fruit juice to drink. Everything was delicious but that Buddha roll was our fav! Definitely recommend having dinner here while in Vieques.
Friendly staff & great food options. Not all are on the menu so ask! - Edit
Friendly staff & great food options. Not all are on the menu so ask - veggie roll is listed by the tofu roll isn’t & both are amazing! Box salad was great - fresh greens from the restaurant garden with pears! Several other options I didn’t try.
