Delicious vegan and vegetarian options - Edit
The menu features a handful of vegetarian and vegan options that are incredibly tasty and faithful to the local flavors. The pastel soup was a delight! It’s a little harder for the vegans but we managed and felt quite satisfied with the veggie tacos, rice & beans, and fries. The prices are high but honestly you get good portions and the service is exceptional. If you are vegetarian you also get to enjoy a good variety of desserts; for us vegans we get the delicious sorbets. The ambiance is lovely too.

Two to three vegan options - Edit
Made a reservation at Placita and notified in advanced that I was vegan. Once seated the waiter let me know that he knew I was vegan and proceeded to list the chef’s vegan dishes for the day. Everything was delicious…somewhat pricey but delicious. Cocktail game is strong as well.

Service was incredible! We told our server we were vegan and he conferred with the chef to come up with several options for us. Very accommodating! Everything was so delicious we went back a second time to try the things we didn't get the first time!

Secret vegan options - Edit
Although there was only one dish listed as vegetarian, the server was incredibly accommodating. He checked with the kitchen and came back with several additional vegan dishes. Once we made our selection he came back yet again to check and see if we were okay having a fried item cooked in the same oil as meat items. Overall the food was delicious, and the server was outstanding.
