The perfect store for daily stuff (like mylk, yoghurt or peanut butter), for presents (like turrĂłn, nice chocolate), some special delicacies (cheeze, mock meat...) and cosmetics, vitamins and supplements. This store is a little overpriced. I saw some products I usually buy in Madrid with price tags a tad higher than they should. But hey, maybe it's a Barcelona thing and living is just more expensive there.
Read moreThough the selection of products was wild and interesting (the owner was proud of having what other stores don't usually go for) I was uncomfortable with the wild nutrition claims made by the owner and the products he recommended. I'm tired of vegan foods trying to get into the superfoods movement without the science to back it and regular cooks, shop owners etc acting as nutrition phd's. Won't go into much detail but know you won't find certain foods in here for being "processed" while they offer other processed products like those are the real good ones.
Also they offer high end vegan cheese if that's your thing.

I love this place for their vegan cheeses. They are the best plant based cheeses Iâve ever had (I just wish it would be possible to by them without the plastic packaging). They also have the fattier version of Oatlyâs oat milk and ombarâs raw vegan chocolate which are some of my favorite treats

Great selection of vegan and raw food products from around the world that are otherwise hard to find. Aditionally the owner is really friendly and helpfull. He gladly explained all of the cheese making they perform themselves. If you want to have a taste before investing in a raw cheese, you can pass by petit brot restaurant a few blocks down for a cheese plate.

As the vast majority of reviews here have pointed out, the highlight of the shop is their artisan aged vegan cheeses. TheyÂŽre without a doubt the best vegan cheeses IÂŽve tried. They are pricey, but certainly worth it for the time and love put into them. YouÂŽre really paying for a premium product, and itÂŽs a nice treat to have at home.

Vegan Cheese Paradise - Edit
I found out about this place on the Petit Brot menu (raw vegan restaurant in Barcelona that I recommend) as they serve a cheese plate and the cheeses come from THELIVINGFOOD. The staff was AMAZINGLY helpful, they have me instructions on how to get my products home safely (without refrigeration for 12 hours, I was concerned). The artisan cheeses come in pretty large packages, I'm sure it'll last me a few weeks. They also had Follow Your Heart dressings/sauces! I was very happy to see these as I have never seen them carried in France (where I live). Love this place!

This store is as pretty as stocked with the most diverse and hard to get healthy and delicious food. That said the highlight is their artisan cashew and almond cheeses. They are so absolutely delicious I went back the next day to get more!

Wow, I am impressed with this store. Not just only have stuff that you cannot find in another vegan stores, but also they make they own cashew cheese. And it was my goal visiting this place. The cheeses are artisanal, made with fermentation and adding some spices, and so taste fabulous. Quite pricey, but definitively worth to trying at least one of them.
