A must visit if you love vegan cheese when in Barcelona - Edit
I have read several reviews of the Livingfood and therefore decided to cut some time out of my day to find this place. I was mainly interested in the vegan cheese so many people were raving about. And I can only 100% confirm the high recommendations about the place and especially about the cheese. The owner took alot of time to explain the different cheeses to me of which they have several. I think it was 8-10 different cheese which included cheddars, "blue cheese" as well as various other soft and hard cheeses. The owner gave me such great information on the cheese making process and ingredients. You can see that they make their cheeses with a passion. Several of the cheeses need to be pre-ordered so if you are staying several days its worth going there early on to be able to pre-order some of the very coveted cheeses. I will definitely be back.

Amazing Vegan Cheese - Edit
This place is a hidden gem in Barcelona. The owners of this shop are serious cheese geeks. They make a half-dozen different varieties of cheeses; all raw, all nut-based, all fermented, and all with incredible flavors. These cheeses are the real deal, folks. Not the highly processed stuff that you find in the shops. One variety features cashew nuts soaked in sea water from Formentera! Talk to the owners when you go and they will help you choose the right cheese for your tastes. Personally, I'm a big fan of the parmesan and the feta.

As soon as you walk into Thelivingfood, you are greeted with an open, positive space. Everything is set out very neatly and logically and a huge range of hard to find ALL VEGAN products are stocked. The house-made, raw, organic nut cheeses are mindblowing. Highly knowledgeable and very friendly staff with a real passion for service and veganism. This is a must if you're a vegan visiting Barcelona!
