Excellent - Edit
Very friendly staff, tasty food. The place was absolutely full on a Friday morning (100% justified!) Both the sandwiches and the cakes we tried were delicious, and the portions were quite good-sized.

Nice vegan food in Fort William - Edit
We had a really good time in The Wildcat. We had some soup with a delicious wrap and some Linguini with sun-dried tomatoes and "parmesan". We really enjoyed that meal and we had some cakes for dessert, with PLENTY of options, so difficult to decide!
Read moreThe place is nice, in the main street of Fort William, the Staff is very kind and they sell some vegan products.

It was ok - Edit
Grateful for a vegan eatery in this part of the world. It was absolutely packed, which is great to see. The food was certainly ok, for me personally, it was quite bland and could have used some seasoning. The staff were busy for sure, but didn't seem too keen on all the patrons who are making it so successful. It will remain popular as it's the only vegan place in the area.

Best place in town! (and the only vegan place) - Edit
Pastries, savoury and sweet; cakes, slices, squares; mains, soup, coffees (including filter), smoothies, weekly specials…and a small grocery area, with chocolate, condiments, canned and packaged goods and household products.
Read moreOver my three days in town, I had the curry served with naan; biscoff cake, carrot cake, salted caramel cake; and the spicy bean roll - all very good. Wish I’d had time to try the quinoa & veg salad.
Often very busy - it’s popular!

Great options! - Edit
They lost our ticket and we had to wait quite a bit for our take a way. There were no seats available as they were super crowded and don't have many seats overall. Once we got food we were very happy and everything was very tasty!

Gezellige, kleine koffiezaak waar je ook een maaltijd kan eten. Ondanks de drukte was de bediening uiterst vriendelijk en vlot. De soep sandwich is echt een goeie deal. Bedankt!

The wildcat is an island for vegans around Fort Williams. For warm dishes it has a small menu but a diversified one. The tea variety is wide.

Okay - Edit
It must be great and I was just a bit unlucky: it was full as I came because it's tiny. So I ordered takaway. Then I got a chair and could dine in. The guy taking my order was new I guess, he lost my order. So it took a while til I got everything. And I noticed that the portions were smaller for takeaway than the regular plates and cups (muesli and latte for example). So I was a bit disappointed and angry because it's not cheap. And one lady didn't seem very friendly. But the food and coffee tasted good.

Entering this place felt like coming home. Such a nice atmosphere, great assortiment of drinks and delicious food. We ordered latte. It tasted great, one minor thing is that it wasnt very hot. I like to hold my hands around the cup and the feel the warmth of the drink, i couldnt do that now.
