Okay - Edit
Food seemed a bit bland. Mozzarella Wedges, french toast and pie were good though. They do have a nice ordering system in place for covid at the moment.

Delicious and comforting - Edit
Picked up dinner here while visiting a friend in town. We got the BBQ burger, hunny hot wings, sampler, rueben, and Albuquerque crunchwrap. Everything was so great. My two friends have almost 0 experience with vegan food and they said they will be going back for more! The BBQ burger came with one drop of sauce on it which, for a BBQ burger, should have had more. I added extra BBQ from home and then it was perfect.

This place is my new religion - Edit
Everything is insane. The first burger I got here made me legit cry. I'm not even exaggerating. Even if I weren't moving to Seattle, this would be a regular vegan pilgrimage destination for me. Do yourself a favor and go here.

Good stuff - Edit
Grilled cheese is absolutely amazing, greasy, but oh so yummy. Mac and cheese was creamy and yummy. County fried seitan was delightful with excellent breading. Fettuccini Alfredo was very good as well.

True gem - Edit
This place is hands down my favorite in Seattle. They provide some of your favorite foods veganized and it’s true nostalgia. So delicious, would recommend the fire house and chk parm but honestly everything is amazing.

Massive Menu with Tons of Options - Edit
If you want a menu with tons of options ranging from breakfast to dinner and dessert then Wayward Vegan is definitely worth checking out. Definitely one of those places you scout out the menu ahead of time to figure out what you want. Granted with the current scenario there's no dining in anyways so you'll have to commit for an online order anyways. Last time I was here I tried the appetizer sampler, the Farmers Hash, and the french toast. The french toast was some of the best I've ever had, not just vegan french toast, I mean ever. My girlfriend and I still talk about that french toast. The Farmers Hash is just a solid greasy spoon style breakfast that is hard to get as a vegan unless you want to make it yourself. As far as appetizers go the buffalo wings were definitely the best option, though I wish they were heavier on the buffalo sauce, I want saucy wings. Looking forward to returning to the Wayward Vegan in the near future.

Cons: So many choices it's hard to decide, Buffalo wings need more sauce

Huge menu - Edit
I don’t know how Wayward can offer its entire menu all day, but they do. I’m not much of a breakfast food person, so I like having more savory options for breakfast/brunch. My favorite is the breakfast poutine, and I like that their sides menu is so large. (A side of mac & cheese with breakfast, anyone?) Portions are big, and the staff are friendly. They are a small business and hours vary frequently based on circumstance. The best way to stay in the loop is to follow their Instagram account.

Solid vegan diner food - Edit
This place is really good! Some of the menu items contain more grease than actual flavor, but their good dishes more than make up for it. I tend to like their fun Denny’s breakfast copycats, crunch wraps, and sweet breakfasts. I think Wayward should be designated an official Seattle vegan landmark at this point.

Pretty good. Cinnamon rolls were my favorite thing we ordered. Everything else was alright, but not amazing. The French toast had a weird density to it.

100% bomb ass vegan cafe - Edit
I love this place. It was so much better than I thought it would be. I’m visiting & my friends mentioned it because they know I’m vegan. I went with 7 non vegans and all of them seemed stoked about their food. Every single thing ordered looked great & better than the happy cow pictures. I got an unhealthy and freaking beautiful breakfast club and it was everything I could have dreamed of & more. If you’re in the area, even if you aren’t, go to this place. It’s worth whatever detours you need to make. I’ll be back for sure.

If I could live here, I would! - Edit
After I went vegan, diner food was something I really missed. Luckily, I discovered wayward through a friend a few years ago and it’s become mine and my husband’s favorite place! Wayward has a HUGE menu that gets revamped with new and exciting options about once a year, and everything is delicious. You get a massive amount of food for a great price! My favorites are the waffle with berry compote and whipped cream, the very veggie omelette w hash browns, the breakfast club...honestly I can’t list them all, because it’s so hard to choose. My husband and I are in Seattle weekly, and eat at Wayward 99% of the time.

My family planned a trip to Seattle specifically to eat here, and it did not disappoint! I loved the staff and atmosphere. If you are looking for vegan health food, this probably isn’t the place for you 😂 Comfort food, and classic favorites with no animals harmed makes this place a dream come true.
